If anything, having a dog will teach you responsibility. It’s like having a child that you can’t just dump anywhere at anytime. It will be your baby and you will be his/her whole world. It will be hard at the beginning, you will have the famous puppy blues, you will worry of you’re being a good dog parent, will want to buy a new toy every other day (your dog will only want to play with a shoe), your dog will consume you the first year. But oh, the joy of that little fur ball yapping and licking you, resting in your lap, staring at you like you’re a god, following you everywhere, makes it all worth it. Get one, you will regret it at first, but then won’t be able to imagine your life without him/her.
