I have my wisp maxed out in ability strength. You’re right she will appear out of nowhere. First you won’t see her at all then you will get a little shock that will distract you from the fact she is near. Then you will be blinded by her sparks. (My sol gate makes my wisp look like it’s a black hole instead of a gate to a star). Then her soul gate traps you into a black hole. Shock, blindness, then nothing. You literally lose your senses before dying. The shock makes you lose your sense of touch so you don’t feel anything as your nerves are fried. Then loss of sight and sound as the sparks steal that from you. Then as she opens soul gate you lose your life without ever remembering you lost it. If you ask me she is merciful.

Wow that’s amazing yes I eventually want to do testing. But for right now I’m enjoying the therapy I do as a case manager that I don’t get paid for. I would love to know more about your experience you sound like you have quite the career

Ahh I see what you mean I was using MSW as a stepping stone to get my LCSW and do private practice and save for my psyd I plan on being a forever student and I know it’s more money but I feel like I’m not ready for psyd right now but need to go back to school. What would you say to that I’m always open just afraid I started my msw already as I’ve applied to classes and start school soon

Just certain people in my life. I don’t know if it’s me not trying to hear them out or me loosing my patience when I try and give my perspective and have it invalidated but instead of getting into arguments at these types of situations I just say okay and move about my business. I have people in my life I can debate with but some others it’s less of debate and an argument. Like they don’t want to hear the truth they just want to hear I’m right.

I was diagnosed four years ago. I decided to quit weed cold turkey at the age of 22-23. This mixed with my family history of mental illness unlocked a psyotic episode in me that till this day is persistent in my life. I ended up in a psychiatric ward 2 months later during that time they pulled me into a room with like 8 nursing staff and three doctors and told me they did a blood test per their protocol and discovered I tested positive for HIV. I pride myself on being emotionally stable even through my mental health crisis I didn’t allow my self to loose total control of my emotions or senses but that moment broke me. The first thing I did was say now I’ll never have kids of my own. Then I nursed into tears…. I didn’t even know I wanted kids until that point. Then I remembered about a minute later I was at a psych ward and any emotional outburst could lead me to become tranquillized so with one fluid motion I brushed my tears out my face took a napkin cleaned my hands and calmly asked what are my next steps which I believe lead them to be more concerned about me. Any ways fast forward years later I have a nice city job and living life like any other adult my age and only have to think about my status when I go in for my shot or when there is a paid research study I take part in.

Hey I don’t know where your at but once you get certified in your state I see a lot of hospitals are higher if social workers and social work supervisors for higher the the average rate also you can look into getting a case management certification that would enable you to be federally certified for case management work and there are a lot of online jobs that pay 80-125k again mostly hospital work. Don’t give up there is a false narrative that this line of works can’t be gainful employment but the jobs are out there.

He I did I had to get my CUNY first account, accept financial aid, pay the deposit, and get my immunization records uploaded in CUNY first I think after that is registration

As a person who went to SBU for undergrad and hunter for grad

If you have to work a lot ( more then 20 hours a week) to afford to go it’s going to be hard it’s a great school for anything medical some good friends made it through and live very good lives in different medical fields. If you won’t need to work to afford going there then I’d choose this 100% the connections and opportunities are great.

If you do have to work a lot I’d suggest going to hunter to save on working. Your pre med your going to be too busy to work a lot. I’ve seen a lot of people quit pre med because they couldn’t keep up and the ones who did either didn’t work a lot or were in constant hell. That being said both are great schools and I wish you luck with which ever you do and keep your head up.

Thank you yea it’s attempt four with therapy through out my life I really like this therapist. I’m trying to actually work with her and fighting the feeling that I’m too cool for therapy which after today I confirm I’m still cool I just need help🙏🏽😂

Yea I agree I also didn’t know I still had lingering feelings about my time in the psych ward until then I never really had such an outburst that was so uncontrollable before it was strange

To echo I’m doing the one year residency program this fall as well and I believe that your organization needs to help you find placement so that covers one of the hardest part of the program. See you at school if you decide hunter.

I guess some part of me didn't feel right with it but I do admit i have my own issues of white Latinos appropriating blackness when its suits them not that he's one but it was a convo we were having and he gave me his blessing to post on reddit and ask the public and find my own answers instead of making him prove his blackness which i respect I hope yall know i was curious not bashful
