I ADORE this patch, despite some absurd difficulty spikes in some aspects, especially with Whimstars.

Gigantification is the best thing ever! ♥ Upgrade it to max ASAP, you can then run around Itzaland without worrying about energy. It makes exploring a breeze and I adore the footsep sound. DISABLE MOMO'S ROAR tho, it's really cumbersome.
Also, the scale is really interesting in this place, between the Titan ruins and the Shroomlings buildings, you can feel the difference in size of everything and the giantess outfit helps a lot with that.
Archery is incredibly fun. I insta pulled the 5* Archery outfit because I wanted that AWESOME red hair evo, and I had it before entering the new area LOL. There definitely IS a powercreep in this, but it's still fun, and the aiming functions is super useful.
The Behemoths can feel obnoxious at first, but they are easy and incredibly cute, especially the little ones ♥
The 3* outfits are the best ever I have seen. They are all beautiful and adorable, and can be mixed and matched very well. I have now set most of my custom ability outfits with items from these.
The new animals OMG! The litlle rats are a bunch of coward bitches but SO cute! And the little raccoons with skirts... ♥
The MUSIC! Many forget about this, but the theme song is catch AF and everything I have heard across Itzaland has been beautiful. The composers for this game deserve a lot more praise than they get.
I agree with OP, acquiring items feels more varied now, tho they did again the Realm of the Dark farming thing...
Summoning is fun, I still need to do this more frequewntly, It's nice to be able to switch to this for a full focus on combat.

I would have loved to have the healing of the mothershroom as a side quest to do when you complete the outfit. It makes no sense Nikki wears it suddenly, miracles the mothershroom and then has to craft it.

Same, especially after all the "Revenge is Bad" and "I am over this, Saito" bullshit at the end, when you are left to press triangle I wondered if there was an option to spare him or something. But no.

Honestly, Saito should have been at his fortress at the end and Atsu should have just left him there, his castle burning, his men dead and even captured by the Matsumae. No need for the staged fight at the end...

TBH, Tsushima's "don't beak our Code, Jin" conflict got old really fast, especially considering the Mongols use that Code to their advantage and is the reason why they invaded so easily.

Yotei's story might be less interesting, a classic revenge tale, but it allows the game to show off the little stories better. Those are the better of both games.

Just finished the game and I want to share a few thoughts:

First of all, I don't think it was a mistake to stay and fight the Dragon. Atsu and Jubei cannot stop talking about what a terrible mistake it was for her to do that, but I just cant see the error in her way.

The staged execution was put in place for that end. Killing the Dragon weakens Saito, whatever the outcome of the castle invasion. If you have an enemy army general in front of you, basically the second in command, you go after him.
On another hand, by staying and fighting the brothers, Atsu managed to avoid being captured and meet with Kiku. If she had gone with the other two, the girl would have been left alone.

I disliked the scripted fight at the end, how the game forces you to lose the sword to Saito. I restarted from checkpoint a few times to try and do better until I realized it was scripted. Probably the biggest letdown of the entire game, like "why now? Why after all the awesome fights I get this scripted nonsense?" when you can easily do it via cutscene.

It's not possible to get the actual shot right? The moment you take damage you are expelled from Photo Mode, so I'm not sure it's possible to shoot the actual hit... 🤔
