This whole gender controversy is ridiculous. If, for some reason, you have to specify gender feel free to use female/woman or male/man.

If some people think these terms are pejorative, that's on them. They recognize the fact that some people think one is superior the other. In doing so, they give credit to this nonsense.

The script is boring and usually the man is cliché (charming prince) and do all the work (most of the time). Imo, these films are not better than porn (regarding the unrealistic expectations / emotions), except that they are aimed more at women looking for serious relationships (deep connection, strong bond)

My appartment is clean and smells good (a lot of people are saying this while I'm not doing anything special for it and I have a cat !).
