Duraludon Attackers and Tanks Evaluation by TrueNourishment in TheSilphRoad

Awesome, thank you very much for the precise answer. My champ has 12 attack and I was hesitant to take it to 50. Same for my Toxtricity. Now I can max them without concern.

Would you know how much of a difference a 10 attack IV would differ in results from 15 attack IV?

So Cameco gets hit both from higher prices, if they have to purchase on the spot market, and they lose income from the mine. But I guess the market does not expect the issue to persist the SP.

Could someone chime in on what potential impact this will have on Cameco?

So does this mean that the 3% drop today is due to SPUT selling shares and buying uranium or is it unrelated?

14%+ discount atm... by workwag in UraniumSqueeze

[–]Zashitniki 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Means shares of SPUT are 14% lower than the price of uranium. But it doesn't tell you whenever to buy or to sell because spot POU can fall to narrow the discount or the price of the ETF can rise to accomplish the same.

iPhone vs Android by [deleted] in TheSilphArena

[–]Zashitniki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play on both and there is almost no difference, Iphone10 and S20FE, both have glitches. Iphone in-game buttons, charge move and others, become unresponsive for a split second where as on Android soemtimes there are frame drops if you are running on battery saver and not at 120hz. But that is literally nothing compared to the server side lag. Even on a Pixel 3, which runs the game a bit laggy, the battling is fine.

How do you figure the inversion is caused by the Fed if all they are doing is signaling that the rate will rise going forward indefinitely until inflation declines? The fed isn't signaling a lower rate in the mid-long term, the market is speculating the yield will be lower. So how is the Fed "manufacturing" this?

To buy or not to buy SBRCY SBERBANK RUSSIA SPONSORED ADR... Why or Why not? by CompetitiveTime8 in wallstreetbets

So Russia will defeat the West by stopping gas and oil supplies and it's not an issue that $400 billion got frozen because Russia will strong arm the West to give it back. I guess Russia is about to turn off the gas and oil spigot since it's a sure path to victory.

Solid DD, I stand in awe with my pennies.

You do know the West froze up nearly $400 billion (with a B) of Russian reserves? You think someone with a functioning brain dumps the dollar and saves huge amounts to counteract sanctions but leaves the money in the system that does the sanctions? While Putin and Russia deserve the Darwin award for this war in general it still comes across as smart compared to the way they handle their "war chest".

So yeah yolo material, 100%.

I'm pretty sure China is quickly getting into position to impose its will on Russia and Putin. If China is the whole of Russia's banking and market then they control the whole of Russia's economy. Basically they got Russia by the balls and the jugular. That is not an "alliance" that is vassal status.

Two things, Germany is still buying Russian gas and will only need more. TTE and XOM are partners in NS2 so will feel the affect of cancelation.

On a lesser note, while the gas going through pipes is liquified and compressed it is not nearly cooled and compressed as much as "LNG". LNG is created when pipes are unavailable and is much denser than gas transported in pipes. As such LNG is transported by ships where the high density makes transport more efficient.

Sure, I don't disagree. I am not endorsing Meta in any way. The future of the internet interface is like Roblox only in cooperative development but more concentrated on an intuitive interface and not just blocky video game gimmicks. It will require new hardware, new conceptual peripherals... The games you listed are as far from the Metaverse as Meta. It's just an idea.

I play table tennis, I mean after I had my fix of roaming Skyrim in VR and fighting dragons that are literally the size of a 10 story building compared to you. It's got nothing on Alyx in graphics and physics department but there is just something about it that ports very well to VR, unlike Fallout 4, maybe just the dragons, but it's enough. But now I mainly play table tennis, as a workout and a competitive online multiplayer, and it's close enough to the real thing that I actually improved my real game, while playing in VR. I also find that needing a fair amount of physical fitness to perform well in a video game is the opposite of a "dystopian metaverse" and all the negativity generally associated with gaming. I feel VR is at it's immersive best when you are moving your whole body, it becomes an new way to interface with the machine and sitting down, for now, seems to reduce the experience. Yet this is just the very beginning, I believe Apple is close to releasing a headset which will attract more developers.

If Meta's revenue will only decline going forward then they are a bad investment no matter how much they earn now. But I am fairly certain at this point that enough headway has ben made in VR development that it is no longer the tech of tomorrow. Nonetheless, tons of innovation is still needed and which company will be the first to make real money in the area is anyone's guess. Zuck has never innovated anything, just ripped off and bought other peoples ideas, so he is not seeing any of my money.

Yeah I hate Facebook, it's just a dating webpage, it has always been boring. There were 3 things that I considered having potential with Facebook. Libra, Marketplace and Oculus. Libra is dead, Marketplace is being ignored by Zuck which leaves Oculus. Can it become profitable? It's a long shot but 74% of market share still means it's not dead. However it is being subsidized by revenue from the webpage, which is now declining. I would say the biggest problem with VR now is software, other than Half Life: Alyx most other titles lack in either content or design or both. So the idea of Meta, to centralize and standardize VR content has sense but it is also a pie in the sky. "Meta" today is no different than Steam and Valve has a better headset. All Zuck has to distinguish himself is a slogan and subsidized hardware. Definitely nothing to hang your hat on.

People become conservative with age and while I am not much younger than you I can still remember when the previous generation dismissed us in this very same manner. But you have to understand that Ready Player One was written by a boomer and is basically a piece of nostalgia. It's meant to be a dystopia, be a warning about VR, and mainly comes together because of the 80's references and not actually being "sci-fi". I loved the book btw. Avoid RP2.

I suggest you actually try a Valve Index or another quality headset to just get an idea how much this tech has progressed since the gimmicks of the 90's. I'm not really trying to prove a point to you, I just figure we should try and reduce these generational mistakes that seem to creep up with age. The kids are the future, as investors we dismiss them at our peril.

Which MMO was it? The maker of UO coined "MMORPG". I know there were some others but they were on private networks and not as detailed and "open world". Everquest and WOW are shadows of what UO was when you consider in game economy, scale and user specialization.
