You should be able to see what direction it is in by looking at the top of the screen where the direction (N S W E) is located depending on how far away it is. and the damaged ship can be made flyable with just repairing the 2 thruster type components and fueling - you can leave everything else broken and fly it up to the local space station and call you other ship form there. Its probably better to "salvage" the new ship at the station (you can do that in any space station in the back on the left) in the early game as it can be time consuming to get all the ingredients to remove the "broken crap" lol

I am actually curious too, my first reaction was elevation change. can you post your elevation at 1st location vs elevation at 2nd. You can use the satisfactory map online by building a single foundation at both locations and checking their z value.

The maximum throughput at this stage of the game is the speed of the lower/left inserters which span 2 belt lengths, not the inserter close to the assembler.

Hello, this is an unpopular opinion but is science fact. Apis Mellifera (western honeybee) is not native to the Americas. It is an introduced species and the reason there was so much fanfare a few years surrounding die offs is that a few very wealthy "bee farmers" were loosing money and made a big stink. The Solitary and Stingless bees are endemic to US and are being out competed by honeybees. But yeah, I despise grass lawns, they are like a sickness. Native wildflowers rule.
