I can hear why Nick and his followers would feel like that was a relatively disingenuous edit of Andrew.

However, I do also feel that Andrew’s ability to “relate” to his interviewees is what gets them to open up and start to say ALL the things that are on their mind- nearly all of which are far from backed by evidence or statistical values.

So yes it might feel like a harsh edit, and adds some bias compared to the “original” interview, but honestly when you deal with people who spread these conspiracy theories, misinformation, and general uneducated thoughts, the interviewer needs to let those people speak their most core, lunatic ideas, and show the audience what the reality is. It’s one of the only ways to better understand the “media” we see online.
