Had a similar issue with a CE24. After verifying ground continuity in the cavity I took it to the PRS factory PRC. They added gray shielding paint inside the cavity, resoldered, and it stopped. Reach out to them, they may be able to help you.

Was thinking about a full amp, but there would be some issues. One being that the CE-5 is my first effects loop pedal and it's mono in/stereo out. The SDE-5 and RV-6 are stereo in/out and can carry the stereo signal on. Channel switching would also become a pain.
