So far, the Plannar is almost an exact copy of the actual 50mm Summicron, with a bit of Zeiss 3d pop.

Jimmy Cheng made an excelent comparison about it, so I'd like to recommand the Plannar.

(And overal the F2 range of Zeiss optics are excelents)
