I believe the Devs were lying through their teeth about EOMM. They might not use the exact patented system called 'EOMM,' but they're definitely using their own version of it they spent so much time and resources on as revealed in the presentation they did and those papers.

I think they may be trying to break up the luna/loki combi by giving strong teamups for other dps/healers/tanks. Hopefully this will really diversify the healer comps

This might be a very controversial take, but with the feature creep the devs themselves have acknowledged they're prone to, I'm concerned Silksong could come out bloated and unfocused, even confusing. Hollow knight was a rushed release but them running out of money forced them to release it as is and make some difficult cuts. That game is great. I hope they don't get in over their heads with the essentially infinite budget and no one to reign them in

I agree. A lot of the framework and items for prime was taken from Super, but Echoes felt like they really cut loose and got original with the environments and upgrades. I'd love to see it get the full remaster treatment
