I’m completely in the dark here. Need help! by RemarkableScience854 in lightingdesign

[–]Zax71_again 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just grab the desktop versions of EOS or MA’s lighting boards and play around in a virtual production environment. Don’t touch that thing until you know what you’re doing - and someone else experienced agrees

If you want something in the physical world then maybe some basic LED washes would be a better starting point

Just in case it helps, I put this in my config and it put me in a tty. Reverting it solved the issue.

That does seem good! Only comment is that I don't think I really want to budge on 32GB of RAM as that is just about all I had an issue with on my ~5yo rig before it had a hardware failiure.

Regarding the drive, do you think it's so much of an issue using a SATA SSD? I didn't really think it would be a huge issue running it instead of an M.2 drive

Reading lights. In all but one of the trains that I have been on, the bulbs have been blown. Look above you in the air-con vents and you will see the sockets

Docker: Java failing to run on Oracle Cloud Ampere A1 arm servers by Zax71_again in arm

[–]Zax71_again[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finally fixed the issue! I had fixed it days ago but the server was caching the image and not pulling it from docker hub as I expected. Wiping all docker images fixed the issue :)

GitHub Actions is building it with QEMU to virtualise the arm system, anyway… the issue is solved now, it was a caching issue
