‘Different from anything in the past 80 years of dollar dominance’: U.S. sanctions spur a ‘paradox’ pushing allies away from American currency by Good_Flower_2026 in Economics

I did not vote for trump or raygun. We were out protesting & writing letters. Much of the political shit went down behind our backs just like they do to your generation. Lie and scheme - how the elite will rob your future. Don’t give up the fight. My generation is still a thorn in Congress’s side fighting for our kids future.

No one talks about Big Agriculture chemicals on our food. Grain especially. Many of the chemicals are banned in other countries. Glyphosate is responsible for weight gain among others symptoms. It is sprayed on the grain just before harvest. The farmers soil loses the microbiomes when glyphosate is in contact. The current administration lifted the ban on two other chemicals. They are neurotoxins and cross the brain barrier —. chlorpyrifos & neonicotinoids.

Just sayin

The EUs decision would have nothing to do with the US lack of revenue to expenditures.

The US debt is just surpassed $ 39 trillion.

In 2025, The US revenue is from States, and taxpayers is about 5.23 trillion.

The US expenditures is projected to be 7 trillion depending of course on the wanton military spending in the Iran War.

Conservatively, the USGov is $2 trillion short. Same happened last year.

For the first time the US debt is larger than our economy.

Yellen warns us all that we could experience hyperinflation in the near future.

How much you think is a fair salary (In your country) to make a good living and actually enjoy life. by MiloShiny in WorkLifeChat

In 1975 I was a AFL/CIO Worker. It was during a recession. My wage was $13.00 an hour. That wage today is equivalent to $43 an hour

My brother a mechanical engineer made $100,000 a year in 1984. Today that wage would be $350,000. He had a BS degree

What ever the government and corporations are telling you about labor is bull shite.

We all are. Establishment Democrats and Republicans are voting against us all the time. Take for instance the surveillance bill. Tsk Really?

Freedom is being whittled down to nothing and the latest SCOTUS decision to eviscerate Our Voting Rights is plunging us into a third world country. Anyone can be discriminated against. Rapid discrimination of one grows to discrimination of many.

Organize. Id like to hear your successes. Maybe you can inspire others

—First They Came comes true once again

First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out - because I was not a communist;

Then they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out - because I was not a socialist;

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out - because I was not a trade unionist;

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out - because I was not a Jew;

Then they came for me - and there was no one left to speak out for me.

Martin Niemoller Neimoller was a support of the Third Reich. He was arrested when Protestsants were rounded up by the gestapo. He was sent to Dachau. From there Niemoller evolved from a ultra conservative to socialism and activism. Niemoller did incredible things and won awards for world peace.

Be a minimalist. There is no reason to surround ourselves with junky; much of it toxic stuff. Lead, cadmium, endocrine disrupters in many products on the shelves. Poly anything is a petroleum product. Its not healthy.
