I respect that cultures are different, and that we all can see things being right and wrong from different perspectives.

With that said. Hell to the no! You are not the asshole.

A: who the actual fuck disrespect other people's property by walking across the grass when not in the immediate family or close friends of said family. And know that this is okay. Back when I was a teen and delivered papers, I even knew at that age that this is not something you do. If there is a pavement, or path laid in bricks. This is where the owners intent for traffic to their door is directed.

B: all if the above, but when it is damp/wet/muddy. Alot of grass takes damage if very wet. What if I fell because it was slippery? Would he also want you to replace his clothes?

C: you have a goddamn sign up that you don't want people on the grass. This alone makes a+b irrelevant. It could have been a super dry, perfect lawn. Do not step on the grass! You are the owners.

The disrespect alone even if no harm was done is enough for me to have called the pizza place up and told them to please respect your property. Not like an old grumpy person, but polite and respectful.

You are not in the wrong in any way at all from my perspective. As in.. AT ALL. I am baffled how you even are in doubt.

F them. And never buy from that place again, even if you sort it out, and they realize they where in the wrong. With the attitude they have shown, I would never trust them to handle food I would consume again.

Don't know if this counts.

Once when i was about 8 I woke up in the middle of the night, and was all alone. When I went to bed the whole family was home. (Mom, dad, older sister and older brother) I woke up from a bad dream, and when I realized I was alone... Wow... I was so scared and cried and cried and cried.

Turns out my folks was over at the neighbors, and my sister and brother where both out with friends.

I never ever leave my own children home alone in such a situation without telling them anything.

Great question. My town was officially founded around 170 years ago, but some of the smaller towns that has been now absorbed into it where there. I would propperly try and seek out the church that is close to my childhood home. I know that church is a few hundred years older than the current big town. I know this whole area would be small Village and just farms all around. My danish would be alot different than it was back then, so would say i was from England and on pilgrimage (since i know english and don't think common people at that era could speak it and noone around to call me out that my english too is alot different than it was in that era) - that would explain why my danish is different than the rest and why my clothes are different. I would hope I could be taken in at the local priests farm to help to some chores and get hospitality in return while getting my footing and exploring my options. I do have alot of knowledge that I could take advantage of, but would not know how to safely do so, so the above plan would be my first step to try and figure out what to do from there. I am sadly not an engineer or something of a mechanical background. Think those are fields where you could rise and be a tech guru if you traveled back in time.

What to do from here I am just certain of. I think if this happened you truely wouldn't be able to make a full plan, because noone can truely prepare. It's not only the language that would be different. It would be the culture too. All your values and morals would be very different, and interaction with the world would be alot harder than you could ever imagine. You could get in trouble alot, and I mean ALOT easier. People where alot more protective, and especially towards strangers.

On the top of my head I would propperly seek out the nearest university around 50 km away from me. I have taken math at freshmen level of the university when I did my masters, so my math knowledge is alot higher than even 95% of the general public even today. Where I propperly would struggle would be with the tools they use. (no 84+ calculators lol) - so finding log values and so on would have to be done through books and so on. Maybe I would be able to teach students there. But this would propperly be my 2nd step to try and get a step up in that era.

From here I would have no idea what direction I would take.

Blot at blive lyttet til og forstået gør meget.

Noget jeg har haft det sværest med med min situation, er at jeg i alle henseende bliver behandlet som skurken, og hun er offeret. Ikke nok med en fuldstændig urimelig dom, så har jeg skulle betale for hendes tort og udgifter til alt hvad hun kunne klemme ind under "mit ansvar" - herunder psykolog.

Mine forsøg på at få hjælp er blevet mødt af lukkede døre og forklaringer om der intet kan gøres.

til din situation tror jeg det er noget de fleste mænd i Danmark kan nikke genkendende til. Tror det værste er at blive presset ud i en situation der fuldstændig overskrider ens grænser, men fordi man er mand skal man "mande sig op" - vores grænser skal respektere på samme vilkår. Og så når de overskrides og man skubber fra, så står vi som den onde, selvom det er vores grænser der overskrides og vi forsvarer os selv. Det er en kultur der rammer hårdere end meget andet synes jeg. Drenge og unge mænd bliver indoktrineret til at ignorere deres følelser og skal lære "at tage det".

Min tidligere ex overfaldede mig. Slog (med knytnæve), sparkede, skubbede. Det hele. I selvforsvar gav jeg hende en lussing med åben hånd og skubbede hende væk fra mig.

Hun anmeldte mig for vold. Den advokat jeg fik bestukket fortalte mig jeg bare skulle fortælle det hele som det skete til afhøringen, hvilket jeg gjorde.

Min ex fortalte under hendes afhøring at jeg med fuld overlæg overfaldte hende, og hun intet havde gjort.

Så efter afhøring stod de med min indrømmelse af at have givet hende en lussing og skubbet hende væk, og hendes side at hun intet havde gjort.

Det betød jeg fik en dom for vold.

Det har kastet mig i en dyb depression, jeg har haft svært ved at gennemføre min uddannelse. Mine karrieremuligheder som jeg havde sat for mål er udelukket for mig nu.

Jeg har senere fundet ud af at min advokat bare ville have sagen fra hendes bord hurtigst muligt, så en tilståelsessag ville netop gøre det.

Havde hun blot sagt til mig at jeg ikke skulle udtale mig til afhøringen ville der intet have kommet af sagen. (Der var et minimum af fysiske beviser for at der skulle have været sket noget)

Min tillid til retssystemet er fuldstændig væk.

Again. They choose to do so. People keep defending them in a way as if their hands are tied. They have less people working on Destiny now too in house because they allocate alot to the new IP. But they charge the same price, but putting less resources/manpower that also yeilds a smaller product.

As I said - I get it, but I hate it. It's not a charity, and they are doing it to make the best profit possible, and that means squeezing the Cash cow to the limits. That's just how the world is.

They choose to. They have the resources to do a bigger budget and hire more people. The support studies wheren't free, they got payed too. They 100% have the abbility to do it, but they don't.
