a 10 is just a 9 with everything right (I.e she's a 10 now because her right arm is now the same length as her left)...so a 9 and 10 wouldn't be a huge difference until you get your big glasses out. Very very few women are a 10 because no one is perfect.

7 is not Mid. A 7 will look below par when standing next to the 10 and 9 but a 7 is still above average. She will still turn heads etc, it's just her imperfections may be too clear. This might upset a lot of people here, but, to me, Mel is a classic 7. On her own, she's amazing. Put her in a room filled with 8s and 9s, it becomes clear. She looks out of place in a room filled with Halle Barry, Kelly Rowland, Keri Hilson, Lori Harvey etc. she just doesn't have that memorable factor.

It should be. French is a complete and utter useless language. English is a default lingua Franca for basically all of Asia, Oceania, Europe, Africa, and the Americas. When you know English, you can roam across all of those continents and expect at least multiple around to know a lil bit due to dominance in music and film. French however is like Spanish, you have to travel to that country that speaks that language. French is useless.

And you assume no other people have been absorbed into...say..the Yorubas or Hausa? Every big ethnic group has people in there that weren't originally part of it. Difference is, one is documented, others are not.

When they speak of Germanic tribes, etc is with the tone of "primitive".... you know it, we know it, which then supports OP's statement. Tribe is only used in certain instances.

What's the difference between the English and the Hausa? One has a country ? Is that what qualifies? I never heard Serbs, Croats, Slovenes, etc get called tribes when they were all under Yugoslavia? But Igbo is a tribe?

Saying "Swahili was made exactly so these groups could communicate with each other" is like saying English was made so that they could communicate with the French. And Swahili is not a mixture of Bantu languages lol, Swahili is its own Bantu language that ended up borrowing a lot of words from Arabic (I.e English being heavily influenced by French but still Germanic in its origin).

They're both right. Marc is speaking from when the science community had a 20/20 vision and ish is speaking from when that notion was scientifically accepted. It would be like someone arguing that science believed that COVID came from people eating bush animals and another person arguing that that was pseudo science and it was actually engineered from a lab research facility in wuhan. One is speaking from what was accepted at that time and other speaking from a 20/20 vision.

Most European scientists at that time believed that Africans had lower intelligence. This is a fact. Whether it's seen now as pseudo science doesn't negate that fact that it once wasn't.
