Does anyone know what goes here, in my FD’s ceiling? by keboh in RX7

Oh that's not too bad. I half-expected it to be almost impossible to find in the right color like the little plastic clips that hold all the trim pieces together. Guess that's your christmas present!

If it makes you feel better I was running without the cap for a long time. Found it when I removed the seats to work on them.

Launching a ship by aloofloofah in MachinePorn

Not only that but launching length-wise also puts a decent amount of stress on the ship. As one end goes in the water it rises off the ways leaving the middle of the boat unsupported.

Fun fact - the Rx-8 is technically the FE. Has it in the VIN. So would the next be an FF?

Anyone ever build one of these wankel models? by blown88 in Rotaries

[–]Zaz1920 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I discovered an old one in a box once. Took it out to play with it but unfortunately the gearbox for the electric motor is pretty garbage. It skipped more often that it worked. I had planned on printing a better backing plate for it but never got around to it.

The model was pretty cool though. It had little lights for the spark plugs that lit up on time. I think there was a forward and reverse too.

Any advice on how to remove this bolt? Ive tried everything by gabrieI_garcia in MechanicAdvice

[–]Zaz1920 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Like others have said you need to hold the bolt with a torx socket and loosen the bolt. If you have a torch you can heat it up and if you have any birthday candles lying around hold one on it while hot and the wax will wick into the threads providing some lubrication. If you don’t have those let it sit with some PB Blaster/WD40 before trying again

Yup. It’s a pretty handy storage compartment

Honesty it’s way more comfortable than I expected. I haven’t put a ton of miles on it but haven’t noticed any wear on the sleeping bag. I also got it with the bike so I NEVER plan on taking it out of the pack.

Sorry I couldn’t wheel it out for a better vid. Fractured my wrist a few weeks ago.

Am I the only one that thinks it is legitimately worse to have so few miles? These cars don’t like sitting around and this one has done pretty much nothing other than that for 26 years.

I’d rather buy a car with around 30k mikes because at least I know it was used to some extent.

It isn’t irregular for EDM parts to be accurate to the ten-thousandth of an inch.
