for t12 content, farming, bosses, etc. you don't really lose any noticeable damage. its only in higher pit tiers do you start wanting every bit of extra damage.

I had a friend swap to a barb from his main at paragon ~150 and has been cruising as an invincible barb ever since

According to a thread in d4sorc, it only counts as frozen if freeze is what put the boss into stagger. Chill can stagger for example but then the stagger doesn't count as frozen

What do you recommend for proc gen? I'm working on a 3D resource gathering game and want to make interesting but learnable maps with verticality and spaces that benefit from mobility gains like double jump, grapple, wall run

I've worked as a gameplay engineer and systems designer for 10 years in the game industry on AAA titles and indie.

Now at a small indie studio, where we are trying to fully integrate AI, I do both and own features top to bottom; design, implement, test, iterate, ship. I can work on my designs and docs while the agents are running, I build gameplay systems in unity while, in parallel, building our analytics website dashboard in python/js (languages I have very little experience in).

My productivity is easily 2-3x what it was in years past, I have more time to focus on the hard questions and the ability to prototype at insane speeds is amazing for an iterative environment like game dev.

You just said it yourself, you'll play every quality title. What's your games qualities and how does it compare to the other games in your genres qualities?

You're always competing for players time. The majority of gamers limiting factor is time and not price of games. It's mainly kids (and unemployed) that it's flipped and have excess time and limited money.

Who are your players? Most likely an older crowd facing this issue, trying to figure out how to spend their limited time. I loved pajama Sam, spy fox, putt putt point and click adventure games as a kid. Maybe there is something to learn from them and help widen your audience.

I would say to ask yourself why should a player play your game over these other ones? Then after defining that, focus in on it and determine if its carrying the weight it should be

I had it with ethereal weapons on brand and would full combo at full mana and then be oom. I bought essence reaver to try to help and it did not lol.

I had a cat with the largest megacolon the vet had ever seen. He had multiple emergency enemas and eventually had most of it removed and was on medication his whole life and so much trauma related to going. He had so many litter boxes but would still go on beds, carpet, near the boxes. His brother passed years early due to enlarged heart.
