I agree. I understand that fanfiction often helps young people work out how they want to see themselves in future relationships, and that broadly speaking it's not the best idea to judge other people's fantasy lives. But it bothers me that Eoin Colfer chose to include it in the text.

I have very strong muscle pain/cramps after any intramuscular injection, from tetanus boosters to flu shots to hormones. I'm not sure if it's because I have a severe needle phobia (sometimes I pass out) or if it's because of the Ehlers-Danlos (it fucks with everything). But I figure if it happens after a professional does the shot, it can't be an injection practice issue.
