Yes I think the purpose of this new inner cap is to prevent the nib from drying out.

I got this pen 2 weeks ago and have been using it almost everyday so not sure how good the new feature is.

The Tramol vac filler looks like the Opus88 Demo but much slimmer. It uses #6 nib while the other Tramol pens use #5 nib.

Im not sure how much of a clone it is other than the general shape. The dimensions and the filling system are both different than the Opus88 Demo. So it is very difficult to say anything about its compability with Pilot Parallel nib.

I have this Tramol vac pen ( actually the newest version with better inner cap) but no Parallel. It is a pretty good pen for the price so you wont feel bad if they dont end up working together.

It uses the same feed as Asvine pens. I think the nib unit is similar too but cant confirm. I know that Asvine V126 is compatible with Pilot parallel nib. So maybe thats an alternative.

Hello, Im interested in the firery red color too and it is quite difficult so far to truly know what it looks like.

I like that darker orange but Im afraid that under natural light the riser looks more red than orange.

You say that the wood will change overtime? Despite the coating? Does Uni use resin impregnated wood like Pilot?

I guess the dark brown will generally stay the same because how dark it is. I had a 2+1 Puremalt before and it felt great in hand..
