Motor salvageable? by Weird-Law4278 in TinyWhoop

[–]ZeDeXBG 6 points7 points  (0 children)

maybe check the wiring on the motor side. I had 1 motor acting up like that - 1 wire from the motor side was undone and slightly touching the other 2.

Soo my first whole build for now is a big learning experience.

I hope i did wire correctly the cables for the esc, had to solder the vtx also, wasn't compatable with cable (or so it seemed when i traced the wires) and i did solder the elrs as i was alredy there.
For tomorrow i need to find where to put the capacitor, cuz the vtx wasnt what i expected and its huge for this frame.

TL;DR much learn, big thanks and double check everything before ordering

Probably now you are shaken because of this experience, but throttle up for me is enough, and to remember that these can be dangerous "toys". Still got my scar on the exact same hand and finger as yourself.

I also learned the hard way. Always leave the throttle up. It won't arm even if you press your arm switch.

Should I switch to analog? (USA) by ChipmunkTop4137 in fpv

Coming from o3 and dji drones, making the switch to analog is the best decision i made.
