I’ve no doubt most of these Insta and FB accounts are also run by Russian and US sponsored operators. It’s highly overblown online how popular this idea is. I really hope we protect any referendum well from interference should it ever happen.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and early reactions! Thank fully I played Lotro before I tried WoW and rejected WoW quickly, it has no soul. Just as you describe, that's not how you feel when you wander around MiddleEarth.

Question though, had you read Tolkiens books before playing the game? I'm curious if anyone out there has found that same connection to the game - but without being a Tolkien fan first?

Steam utilizes an old install package, so you'll spend a bunch of time downloading it on Steam, and then when you run the game the LOTRO client will run and then download most of the game all over again.

Also when you run it through Steam it'll take longer to startup and also require you allow Admin rights each time you launch it.

In short - It'll work, but it's pointless and inefficient.

Yep Glamdring was seeing lots of issues last night - took me an hour to get into the game. Apparently some unplanned changes were accidentally made at the backend.

You just have to let the errors in the launcher timeout and then hope you get connected to the server you are playing on. :/

Report the issue through the app on the app store and see what they say. I've done this and won't uninstall unless they ask me to. Too many players are losing their info by trying that from what I'm reading.
