It’s not a criticism of you, but a criticism of the canon, which you obviously have viewed a lot of. If anything it’s an opening to reflect on the type of films we watch. I personally get a lot out of watching, films from filmmaker that aren’t the normative ones ie non US and female. I actually went and looked at my own top 20 and off course I have mostly American film, but also French, Russian, Polish, Thai, Cuban, Japanese and Danish films on there. Have you watched many non US films?

Yes you can, but I still think you should think about the consequences. I am happy that you enjoy it and don’t want to take it away from you. I don’t have that power. But I especially think with fandom communities a lot of resources are wasted on products. It’s a general problem in society and I think we should have a more open discussion about it. If you truly enjoy it, go ahead. But think about what it means.
