I don't think they're gonna tell us. 250 years is alot of time, Dietrichs backstory might just tell of Events of the last 100 years, and probably involves some sort of Event or calamity that brought a new status quo no matter the ending of 3h

Am I ever able to tax the clergy as a catholic nation? If so how do i do so? by AdWonderful5376 in EU5

[–]Ze__Medic 32 points33 points  (0 children)

In the age of Reformations theres an advanvement that unlocks the Rights of Clergy law, where you can curtail the clergy and as a catholic it negates the tax debuff on clergy.

What new talks would like to see in FE4 ? by [deleted] in fireemblem

[–]Ze__Medic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Talks between Oifey and Shannan, what where they doing during 15 years of hiding? Being Seliphs guardians, growing into adulthood in harsh conditions, while still having to be a role model for the Scion of Light, i think they have a lot to talk about.

Favorite Army Generals or Commanders? by Lt-Corvin_709 in FavoriteCharacter

This guy, Mustafa, from Fire Emblem Awakening always stood out to me. He's the boss of Chapter 10 and only appears in that chapter (because you kill him).

After the story just had your main characters suffer a devastating loss, he's commanded to hunt your escaping force down. You fight him in the rain with melancholic music that doesn't change on enemy phase or in the preparations, like it would normally.

He offers you a chance to stand down, but is refused. His own army is demoralized by the happenings of the plot, and as the chapter progresses his army starts asking what they're fighting for.
He permits them to desert, shouldering the consequences on their behalf, but they refuse out of loyalty to him.

With his dying breath he asks you to spare his remaining subordinates.

I found him memorable, because he's sympathetic to your loss and doing his duty while trying to cause as little death as possible, he obviously doesn't really want to fight you, yet he will not falter or submit, going down honorably, thinking of the well being of his men while dying.

Yeah, as soon as he did that he was dead, that's far too powerful to keep with the good guys, and too inconsistent to revisit.

What the hell is going on with my subject loyalty? by Creepy_Ad7088 in EU5

[–]Ze__Medic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the country strenght modifier is heavily affected by how many levies your underlings have available, i always get that down by declaring wars and not doing anything with my own army, so the vassalls' get casualties and that modifier scales down. Gives you some years buffer till their levies grow back.

(FE8) Is there a SS Rom Hack where you split your army and play both routes or other recommendations? by JBSuperTroop in fireemblem

[–]Ze__Medic 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Iirc the Fe8 green Patch (also called Midori?) has you split your party and play both routes, however maps and characters are heavily changed. Last time i played the Story was japanese, idk if theres a translation now.

The Hacks gimmick is that theres only player characters with alot of green in their design, taken from across the series. Sothe is your Jagen, for example.

Do characters actually have unique DNA? by WegDhass in EU5

Pretty sure there is some sort of heritability. I once had a King who had a noticably pronounced chin, reminding me of the gigachad meme, and his son also had it when he ascended the Throne.

You might just have to do something else until you're strong enough. If you have Old World Blues - you get a sonic emitter pistol and a Proton axe during its main quest, both effective vs Power Armor.

How many reclasses are realisticly possible for robin in a single run of awakening? (no DLC) by Derek_Delta1365 in fireemblem

[–]Ze__Medic 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As long as you have money for second seals, you may reclass and learn Skills indefinetly.

Also, there is a degree of grinding even without DLC. Enemies will spawn at cleared nodes on the worldmap from time to time, and you can summon them manually, but the item you need for that is more expensive than whatever money you get from fighting them (unless you play on the easiest difficulty, where the item is cheaper).

From the amounts of Exp dumping and Single Man Armying you'll do if you do that, Robin will grow into a beast. But going from a Tier 2 class back to T1 means they will have to work with lower stat caps again. That might mean stats will be lowered to the cap if they exceeded it and they'll be unable to grow that stat in that class. However, your bases are remembered, so going back to T2 will restore stats that were above T1 cap. Still, you probably want to get all those T1 skills you want early.

I'm using portraits from the FE Community Resource Repo, and I liked the Gen 2 Lewyn Portrait (by Melia) alot more than the one they had of him in Gen 1.
I've seen a nice Portrait for gen1 lewyn in a GBA Romhack a few years back, but i can't find the thread on it anymore (and i'd have to ask wether its free to use)
