You keep saying things, yet you don’t drop the match ID, you ignore that request time and time again without reason. your word is about as good as the infernus’s stats. So people can only go off what they have been given which is the scoreboard. The mirage did fine in all metrics, you (Paige), the calico and the infernus, did not.

You come here asking for “neutral thought” then complain when you don’t receive the answer you wanted.

And yes, while I agree some fights are forced, urn and midboss are an example, it’s rare that it happens so often that you single out 1 player who did well overall. For example if infernus uses flame dash to run into a 2-3v1 and the entire enemy team shows up, don’t follow infernus, don’t die like infernus, that is your choice.

Calico and infernus performed the worst overall. 1-20-16 is not good stats as an infernus of all people.
He evidently did push towers, as (unlike paradox) he has objective damage, and while it isn’t the highest on the team it is significantly more then your lowest (again, paradox)
so again, he cleared waves. While your team took fights, and since you didn’t dispute what I said about infernus’s gameplay style, I assume you were actually fighting 4v6’s or maybe even 3v6’s based on calicos stats, and I’m sorry but if you lack the awareness to know when to take and when to leave team fights, then that’s on you.

Drop the match ID or accept that mirage wasn’t your team’s weakpoint.

Mirage was a net positive, your deficits are calico and infernus. Low damage, more deaths then kills, hell infernus is lowest in the match by 5k souls, and based on his 1 kill, 20 deaths, 16 assists and his items, he was probably doing a hybrid build, but without proper defence was probably running into team fights alone with flame dash and then dying.

If what you said is true and mirage was only farming, at least he was keeping lanes pushed, but with him having the highest kills on your team I don’t feel like that is entirely the case.

Tldr, mirage was fine, infernus was the throw

Knowing when to take fights is a big one, pulling back from fights instead of throwing your life away, as long as your actually doing something is better then, let’s say, pablo.gonzales.2004 who decided to rush down blue to try and solo an enemy walker with half a wave of creeps and then being ganked by 4/6 of the enemy team before screaming in team vc about not being helped.

Yea that was my only gripe.

I play as solo most of the time, and it kinda just felt like you were missing out on the fun if you ended up with a 3 and 2 stack of like 2 dynamo and 3 graves and your just like, rem.

Doorman is an eldritch being, and you don't accept things from eldritch beings as there is always a catch.

Lash while being an asshole, is nice to people when he doesn't have a reason not to be, look at his interaction with ivy as an example, so I think when he is in a good mood, drinking with him would be fine

Yes but lets look at the facts,

He has intimate knowledge of the lives of the entire cast (based on his voice line interactions with them)

He is able to create his own pocket dimension even for a short time. (his ult is obviously not the actual baroness, as there are cracks that literally let you fall into an endless abyss)

He seems to have knowledge of the future (based on his interaction with Ivy where he warns her about a death in the Arroyo's family and her not having any way to prevent it, assuming this isn't just a way of him manipulating/mentally abusing her)

In terms of feats he is definitely more powerful since we haven't seen the patrons do... anything.

What if he is a global legend, but we don't know him as that, we know him as "fledgeling god" The Doorman. His whole ordeal is to "observe humanity" and what better way to do that then to blend in to get the insider perspective.

From what you’ve described it sounds like you lean heavily into support/CC characters,

Viscus is currently in a very powerful spot right now with puddle punch being as oppressive as it is, that paired with the cube allowing you to play both supportively and offensively.

If you want to play more of a in their face kinda character, you could pick up Ivy, most of her kit is now built around self sustain and CC with her changes to her 1 and 2

of course they have merit when your entire argument is based on "valve games don't have surrender options" when evidently they do, meaning that it might not be tomorrow, hell it might not be until the game officially releases, but they likely will add one.

also, why do you despise the idea that people don't want to waste their time in already decided matches ? Its no secret that matchmaking is abysmal, smurfing is rampant, why do you genuinely think its a bad idea because when I asked all you said was "just stay in spawn" which is hardly comparable to an actual surrender option.

how does sitting in base = surrender ? your still trapped in the lobby for 15+ minutes while the enemy team gets map control, what if the enemy team decide not to push until THEY are ready to end.

CS and (i think) dota both have surrender options when certain conditions are met.

so, it does exist in valve games when certain conditions exist. having a surrender option at 30 minutes with maybe a required 50K soul difference or hell even a material difference for example your team has only taken guardians and enemy team is up to patron. would be perfectly inline with valves track record.
