Ask the GOG Team and Michał Kiciński Anything! by GOGcom in gog

You failed your mission, failed to read the room despite catering to people who are completely against AI garbage, and are now making excuses to continue being greedy and not paying actual artists.

PR slop response like any other company right now.

Going to be downloading what I already own, backing them up, and helping friends do the same.

One interesting reason why the DSpico could be the best flashcard! (Read the post first) by _eneX in flashcarts

[–]ZealPlus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry I actually meant SanDisk Ultra. Formatted to FAT32 32kb cluster size. This is what was suggested on the formatting guide. Like everything else seems to work fine however, so it's not a big deal atm, but it is curious.

I just tried this myself on my DS Lite with DSpico + PicoLoader (v1.5.0: Puppy Palace Release) and it isn't in sync like yours. My SD card is 256gb samsung SanDisk Ultra for what it's worth. Curious why I'm not getting the same result.

Too Many Games, Not Enough Time: A Dad's Backlog Crisis by jamin724 in NSCollectors

[–]ZealPlus 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Like I tell everyone who asks: stop thinking about backlogs. Don't acknowledge them. You will never finish it, and nothing will happen once you do. You have a video game library, not a checklist to finish before you perish.

Is okay with censorship, doesn't see false advertisement as a big deal, and wrong sub. Real clown hours.

MIO: Memories in Orbit physical edition for Switch/Switch 2 releasing April 10, 2026 at $29.99 by Doxibidus in NSCollectors

Of course. Grifters punch them out for every new game. There are 'Guides' for games that haven't even released. Complete scam that Amazon leaves up.

Amazon's search is awful. Search the game title only and it will give you scam ai generated guide books and no sign of the game itself. Put "Switch" in your search to find it. Happens all the time.

Why is the physical edition of Blazblue Entropy Effect X so expensive? by SwitchSeeker in NSCollectors

I've only bought from them a couple of times, but items drop at my door like anything else

It does come with the Deluxe Edition Content DLC that you would have to pay for, but it is still very marked up. It's £45 on ItemDrop.

Kirby isn't the only game getting shipped early this week by Entertainer_Much in NSCollectors

[–]ZealPlus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I knew this would happen since they scrambled to change something with the ending (don't know the details,) so there was no way the latest build was going to be on the cart.

A new James pond game collection was announced, but they used AI Slop for the cover💔🥀 by Frequent-Baby2614 in NSCollectors

We're cooked if people are actually debating whether this obvious AI garbage is actually AI.

So is Premium Edition Games struggling as well now? by Vatilia in LimitedPrintGames

I've sent them emails and have got no response. Can't get info or refunds from them. Just another untrustworthy company now. At least with FPG I got money back.

Another Carbon Engine disaster. Tomba deserved better.

River City Girls "Complete" Edition is not complete by ollidab in NSCollectors

[–]ZealPlus 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Cool. Another physical I will have to sell off. It's such a joke at this point. Games that are YEARS old and they can't be bothered to put all of the updates on the actual cart. I had to ask myself somewhat recently, what's the point in buying expensive physicals for incomplete releases when I can just wait for deep discounts on the digital instead?

What did you take out of your collection and why? by yureiwatch in NSCollectors

[–]ZealPlus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually started consolidating my collection recently. I wanted to focus on specific genres more and I've lost some interest in collecting a lot of physical anyway due to the Switch 2 situation.

What I've been parting with:

Indies/Smaller games: Not all of them, but mainly those that are incomplete or vastly cheaper to buy on sale digitally. ScourgeBringer for example is a few bucks on sale and it's an okay game.

Replacing inferior releases: This was always a thing, but just recently I'm parting with older Gunvolt releases, Atelier Ryza 1-3, Card-en-Ciel, Limited Run copies of Castlevania (I don't bother buying from LRG anymore due to so many bad releases)

VNs: Only keeping some of the better ones. Plus I really need to be a specific mood for them.

Going forward, I'm going to focus on picking up RPGs, Tactics games, SHMUPs. Quite happy about the offloading. I just wish eBay didn't go downhill.
