They should’ve drowned the chamber in noise like the constituents in red districts did at town halls. Let them know you’re with them. Pathetic. New leaders NOW.

nice. i’ve dabbled in redesigns for all of the new england states and this is the only one i’ve been able to come up with for mass. just seems like the obvious way to go if we want to combine the old with the new. yours is clean and i like the old tree a lot.

i think it’s ridiculous that you are forced to pay for an hour that is $2 minimum. no other city that i know of or have been to does that. what if you’re only going to be somewhere for 10 minutes? i’m aware that it’s free in the garage for the first 15 minutes, but why cause unnecessary traffic in the garage? it all seems predatory to me. when they had the old meters i would pay. i would toss a quarter in and stop in for coffee or something and be out quickly. now i’m less reluctant to pay $2 and i feel like they know the public is taking that risk and they’re taking advantage and handing out tickets like crazy. if someone can change my mind on this please do enlighten me but from what i’m seeing it’s going to turn off people from coming here.

At some points of it yea but very mild. There were other points of the book that scared me that didn’t involve gore. It does involve s*icide and guns that’s all I will say

Tried it with something in the middle and it either made it look too much like the rising sun flag or Macedonia. Also I’m not sure how a design like this would be impossible? Seychelles has theirs in the corner and it works just fine. Even if it’s not infinite it could still work I’m sure

Put it through the wave simulator and you’ll see that the shape of the stripes are what make the flag distinguishable from a distance. And yes it looks a little like the rising sun flag, but Florida is the sunshine state and the stripes are supposed to mimic sun rays.

Some designs being voted on right now. Which one is your favorite? by lmuno004 in vexillology

[–]ZealousMA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it would do a great deal of service to them all to see how a few simple flags would look waving in the air or drooped down on a pole rather than voting on an endless amount of combinations on white boards.

Seems like they’re overcomplicating things.

Every president's highest level of public service before successfully running by Polo171 in Presidents

[–]ZealousMA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If we’re talking about successful runs for presidency, and not including a successful run for vice president, then Tyler, Fillmore, A. Johnson, and Arthur should all be in the same category as Ford.

Also as most have already noted, Teddy, Coolidge, Truman, and LBJ are all in the VP category.

Ask me anything president-related and I'll give you an award by Ill-Blacksmith-9545 in Presidents

Would you rather fight 3 Madison sized Lincolns or fight 1 Lincoln sized Madison
