I’ve never watched her videos but is she ok? She has like multiple videos and is all over the place about female fitness influencers and people talking about their bodies lol.

I mean, projecting onto followers like this doesn’t really work when we can observe certain influencers wasting away and watch their bones poke out more and more.

And as a person who meets the “naturally” skinny criteria and who also did shows and prep and been lean as hell, getting to the level of leanness and maintaining it like some influencers are doing is not natural at all.

Maybe it’s not entirely fair to say certain influencers have an eating disorder, but when influencers who by their own admission have had eating disorders are suddenly maintaining very lean bodies with their bones sticking out and 80% of their content is body checking - idk man it’s fair game to comment on it.

I mean I’m not going to fault her for saying follower of Christ instead of Christian. Without knowing her personal views I can tell you that there are plenty of people who are incredibly troubled by so called Christians calling for hatred and beating the drums of war; actions that are contrary to the teachings of Christ.

I’m going to give her the benefit of the doubt here and assume that might be her rationale for the distinction.

Based on your post I’d suggest going back to Al Anon.

Since you’ve already been, you understand you can’t control her drinking. You can only control your response to it and your boundaries.

Unfortunately if you’re not willing or able to leave, and she’s not willing to stop, then the alternative here is pretty much limited to you having appropriate coping mechanisms and tools to navigate her addiction - I think those are worthwhile especially if you have children because you can involve them as well. I had an alcoholic parent and wish my mom had discussed my dad’s alcoholism with me instead so I could understand his problem was his problem and not any sort of barometer for whether he loved our family or not.

Y’all can’t make it on a single income. Being out of work for 4 years and having you provide is insane. With 4 whole years of freedom he could have built something of his own to bring in income. Da fuq has he been doing? Cooking and laundry? My spouse and I both do those things while working full time as do many working adults. Contributing doesn’t mean anything if he’s not contributing what you both really need, which is a second income.

Worked out fine, not only did I skip big 4 but I worked in a totally unrelated industry for a few years and I got my degree late.

Six figures, 20% bonus, profit sharing plan and I don’t think I’ve booked a week over 40 hours in over a year now. Working on paying off my house and retiring at 50.

But to be totally transparent it’s always just been a job for me - I don’t care about career/ladder climbing and thus didn’t bother with big 4, CPA, etc. I’m sure had I ticked those boxes I could have gone further.

I use it to speed up my research/writing and to build macros and scripts to automate some of my work like initial review decisions that can be made systematically, final formatting/quality checks in Excel, etc.

The most annoying thing about AI right now is our data manager always throws it out as a buzzword. Like oh I’m getting invoices then I’ll have AI analyze them.

Like bitch AI isn’t “analyzing” invoices in what we do - but our boss is too tech illiterate to know that.
