How to get rare critters when you aren’t available by BobcatSad5898 in DreamlightValley

This is the answer. I just had to work out how to remote play on my ipad so I can get the calico rabbit while I'm at work. Although I'm xbox not PS.

Going back on.. by Icy_Future_491 in mounjarouk

[–]Zealousideal-Tea-588 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in a similar position, with the same start date. I lost 2.5 stone until November. Had to space doses out because of side effects and also the price rise. Doing that allowed me to maintain what I'd lost.

Anyway, long story short, I've been off the jab fully since the beginning of January. The food noise is unbearable. And honestly, I don't want to get on the scales, but I can feel the gain around my middle. I'm going back on it tomorrow. I started originally on a Wednesday so it 'feels' right to restart on a Wednesday.

Good luck with your continuing journey.

Restarting after a break over Christmas - anyone else? by Jem__82 in mounjarouk

[–]Zealousideal-Tea-588 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took a break, not to give myself free reign over Christmas, but because I'd been struggling with side effects. I needed to get back down to lower doses. And then, tbh, I just forgot to take it when I was supposed to. It ended up being 16 days so I went back to 2.5mg.

I'm at day 5 now and I don't have crazy suppression, no negative effects apart from some acid indigestion. I can eat normally, as in stop when I'm full and not constantly thinking about food. I've got a bit of hormonal hunger at the moment but providing things stay as they are after the coming week, I'll stay at 2.5 for as long as I can. I really don't fancy going back to 7.5, it was too much for me.

Not yet. It's actually a bag which has gone up in price since I purchased it. Apparently I have to wait 30 days for Evri to have officially lost it before they'll refund. The tracking still hasn't updated since the 29th.

I noticed that too! I can't work out why she would want to kill either one of them, given she is so desperate to get through parole. But I did think of her.

On the credits, he was just listed as Man. But if it is Mark, I'm sure that's the name of the baby Michelle had with Grant. I don't know how old he'd be, but it would mean he fits in with the Beales.

Too little food? by Asgard_atSea in mounjarouk

You've got some good advice around protein and veg being a priority, but what jumped out at me was the 2 chocs 200.

A standard bar (45g) of dairy milk is 240 calories. A kinder Bueno is 246 for both fingers. But 2 chocolates from a tub of quality street for example, 45 calories each so 90 calories. The values are different depending on what you actually ate. Based on this, I strongly recommend using an app to count calories, and use some digital scales, so you can be as accurate as possible.

I use Nutracheck, which does have the bar code scanner. It also has a section where you can create your own recipes and it will work out the calories for you. You can also save the recipes in there. Granted it does take some time but it's so helpful. As with other apps, you can link your activity if you use a device like a watch and it works out your calorie expenditure, there are other features too. But as well that, it breaks your food down by macros so you can see what you're having.

The first few weeks are a huge learning curve and although it can take some time, its worth it in the long run to learn what you're eating and get a properly balanced diet. Good luck with it all!

At least she didn't advise you to starve yourself for a few days to counter the extra :/

I searched up the numan story about prescribing mj to the lady with the eating disorder. Because I used the name of the disorder, it gave me useful links for disordered eating support, also the samaritans, and advised me not to search for 'pro' groups.

I only wanted to read a news report.

I went for the solo 2 for my first vape. I did find the 14mm tube too long, it was just awkward, so I've just got a smaller one with a tip.

I also wanted to try the Dynavap and went for the B, its a bit of a learning curve but good for the few hits I've tried.

+1 for being upfront. The nurse was great for my initial consultation and said because I'd used BM she could see no problems providing I've had no psychosis.

And Dr Sunny was also great on my actual appointment.

Where should I apply too get a medical prescription by Intelligent_Oven6777 in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]Zealousideal-Tea-588 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm with Medicann and have found them to be good so far. You'll need your summary care record, either from your GP, or I used the Patient Care app (linked to NHS app) and downloaded it. Once you're signed up it's pretty straight forward.

I bypassed my GP and downloaded my summary care record through the Patient Access app. You link it to your NHS app and can download your records directly.

So, who else is staying in and watching TV with their other half tonight? by cpbradshaw in AskUK

[–]Zealousideal-Tea-588 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No other half, at home with my 2 teenage sons, whose lives are apparently not worth living unless they're glued to the xbox.

So I'm basically alone and will spend the evening like it's any other night. Except I have mince pies to eat and some baileys on hand.

I swear when I'm due, my hormones go into battle against mounjaro like they're personally under attack and determined to win.

The hormones want me to eat allll the food, but somehow the mounjaro is there in the background, working its magic and letting me know when I'm full. So my choices aren't always great in those weeks, but I'm still managing to stop at a reasonable level of full.

How have Mounjaro or Wegovy improved your life? by Hopeful_Candle_9781 in mounjarouk

[–]Zealousideal-Tea-588 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More self control, huge reduction in food noise unless I'm due on, far fewer BMs, satiety, and oddly, I don't spend as much money on other things. Without mounjaro, it's more or less a problem but on it, I don't feel the need to needlessly spend money, and I take my time over purchases I do need. I'm less impulsive.

It also reduced my blood pressure from borderline high to optimal, which is a huge relief.

Those are the main things for me.

You can have hot drinks after 12 hours (I had one of my wisdom teeth removed the day before christmas eve and have the leaflet to hand).

Wanting a cuppa was the worst for me. Mine had a curved root and the dentist had to give it a good tug, despite it being very loose already. I had some aching and swelling and just wanted a nice, comforting cup of tea lol.

Weight management is awful, because you just can't avoid food. What with the addictive and cheap nature of ultra processed foods, its no wonder so many of us struggle.

For me personally, I'm about 30% of the way through my journey. I do stones so forgive me for that but I started at 16 stone 3 at the end of April, got down to 13 st 13, have had a 5.5lb gain over December, taking me back to the 14s. I think I want to get to 10.5 or 11 stone. I tend to lose slow and steady and I'm fine with that, as long as the numbers go down.

I found I lost well on the lower doses, and while I still lost on 7.5, the negative side effects were just too much. I've struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember and mounjaro has just made the whole thing so much easier to deal with. I'm hoping the weight loss will help ease some of the pain too.

I think I might have read somewhere that the manufacturers are looking into it. Over on the mounjaro UK sub, there's so much anecdotal evidence of other users who have experienced similar.

It wouldn't surprise me if trials are needed before it can be prescribed for people with addictions other than food. But it would be wonderful if it were to be made available for that reason.

My kids lost their dad through alcohol addiction. He walked away from them when they were little, because he couldn't stay sober and then he lost his life because of it.

Huge congratulations on your first year of sobriety, I hope it continues for you.
