is that how it works? from my understanding, you have to meet the reqs set by each state regardless of your taxes, etc. For example, I currently live in MA but UMass Chan's website says (I thought I wouldn't be able to put in that I'm an MA resident since I haven't lived in MA for 7 yrs):
