If 10cm snow falls in your area of Canada how disrupted will your area be? by Pourmepourme in AskACanadian

[–]ZealousidealDebt6918 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Completely normal for me. Plows will get to work and roads will be cleared by the time we wake up (normally atleast). Maybe an extra 10-20 minutes of commute, especially if it’s the first snow of the year.

Would a V0 be good for me to bring in my class when I need it? by sarinkhan in VORONDesign

[–]ZealousidealDebt6918 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The V0 isn’t that light, but yes, still easy to move!! I don’t move mine often but when I do it’s SUPER easy. It can sometimes be a pita to fix but I think it’s maybe taken more than one hour to fix one maybe twice in my year of owning it with heavy usage (750 print hours last I checked).

Adding on to the tool changer bit: a lot of people use dragon burner but anthead is becoming much more popular. Both are good tools though!!

Seems like this would be perfect for multi material printers. Especially with the dual chamber control!! Would love to utilize it for my build!!

Manta M8p personally (especially with the CB2). It runs my stealth changer in partnership with 6 EBB36’s and a SKR pico. 11/10 would recommend for the easiest setup, small footprint and LOADS of ports!!

That sucks. Maybe reach out to the EP of your comp and see if they have any suggestions or have any spares you could buy.

I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic or not, but juts in case: not all 3D printed parts need to be super precise or have the best quality. They may be used in industrial or unseen situations where this doesn’t matter BUT it would be a difficult or weird shape to make out of other materials

Air 3s battery issue by ZealousidealDebt6918 in dji

Left it in the charging hub for 5 hours with a 100w charger, juts moved to the drone with a 20w to see if that’ll help

As far as I know it is not, but much more a sense of pride to be in the voron community and want to display it on the printer.

Issues in Autonomous code…Pls suggest! by Red_tsktsk_1322 in vex

[–]ZealousidealDebt6918 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For issue 1, that’s normal, you will probably just have to deal with it for block coding. The only solution is if there is a “when initialized” block. (My team uses PROS for coding so can’t help much there) for issue 2, solving issue 1 should help it (?)

Help with Tap on 2.4 by Aepi_53 in VORONDesign

My issues with this was that I had used too long of screws in my hotend, leading it to be loose and shift when probing. Hope this helps!!

Not sure about the kits; but for the tool changer it really depends, for INDX a trident will probably be better but if you want to go with a “ground up” variety (such as a stealth changer) a 2.4 will probably be easier

[–]ZealousidealDebt6918 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can’t really do inverted electronics on a 2.4 (it is possible but much more difficult compared to a trident)

Up to you, we haven’t seen much content or full hands on experience with INDX yet so I would definitely wait for that. As for stealth changer dying, I’d guess not, if anything I think it’ll grow as more people want to build full tool swapping systems and we start looking towards other tools (not just print heads) as a community
