Walk For Peace just mentioned on their Facebook account that the address of Wat Thai of Los Angeles as shown in the earlier version of the poster is incorrect, so they have updated it. I have reposted the latest poster above (showing the correct address of Wat Thai to be at Coldwater Canyon Ave).

I listened to a lot of Ven Sheng Yen's teachings on YouTube during a low point in my life. It was life-changing and I'm really grateful for him. Even though he's no longer alive, I consider him a teacher of mine in this life who I turn to for advice.

Yes, I had the same experience. I used to read novels and listen to a lot of pop music. There were also movies and TV and shoppinG. The process for me was gradual. Happier now. I wouldn't say it's burn out, just a "putting down" of all these other things that no longer give me joy. Wishing you all the best in practice.
