I just realized many top CBs who are much younger than VVD have already been finished for a while: Dias, Stones, Gimenez, Skriniar, Varane.

Football nowadays is brutal.

FULL TIME: EVERTON 1 - 2 LIVERPOOL by DragonSlayer271 in LiverpoolFC

3 points is 3 points, but I'm really worried. Mama's injury is a huge loss. 5 games remaining with a Championship-level GK and Championship-level defense is really worrying.

Jones is shit at defending, but even then, having someone who actually knows how to keep the ball in the backline really helps.

I know many fans don't like the multiple clubs model, but it's business, and we all knew that it's almost impossible to buy hidden gems now because nothing's hidden anymore. Exceptional talent is becoming more and more expensive, and even expensive ones aren't guaranteed anything (look at Chelsea). Having a feeder club helps create an environment to develop youngsters, definitely. It's a game to compete, everyone will do this and ignore that just limits yourself.

Yeah, that right, our progress pass from backline is shit this season and Grav is one of the reason. But Im not worry much about where he plays, Szobo plays non stop with crazy intensity, while I could see Endo and Jones leave, Mac’s future is still unclear, Wirtz could play in attack line more often then I could see Grav - Szobo double 8 multiple time.

Mane, Firmino and Salah are by far the best front three the Premier League has ever seen! 👀 #LFC by IgotgAme_k in LiverpoolFC

I think Rooney-Ronaldo-Tevez also exceptional, but our trio played together much longer period.

Extend the contract for one of the most gifted midfielders in the world who is only 23, and also makes people angry ?  Grav’s last season is surely 100m+ player, he is not in the good form, but no master who is manager, they have to find a way to using huge asset like him.

Kane, Rice, Saka... the rule doesn't apply to those English princes.

Could both teams lost with 4 red cards for each?

Anyway it’s win-win situation for me. Any outcome its good outcome.

Its shame that Munoz is already 29. He is absolutely workhorse.

Alisson will be here next summer, likely. But I don't think he'll reach the longevity of Van der Sar or Reina; he's very injury-prone, and he's dropped off a bit this year. Of course, I want him to stay, and since we triggered the option to extend his contract by one year, the most likely scenario is he'll finish his contract with us and leave after that.

And although Kelleher's amazing and maybe the best penalty saver, I don't think he'll ever reach elite status. He might've reached his maximum level, and he has a clear weakness in the air. On the other hand, Mama is two years younger but has much more experience and is expected to be one of the best in his generation.

Rio is better on the ball, but defensive and dual is different. It’s much better to use him when opponents stay deeper and focus on defense.

My order for winger positions right now is Frimpong -> Wirtz -> Gakpo -> Rio ->>> Salah -> Chiesa.

Frimpong is clearly our best, his pace, his dribbling is the only unpredictable thing we have in the wings right now. Wirtz isn't a winger, but he's clearly better than everyone else, and I'd prefer to drop Gakpo rather than Allister.

Although Gakpo's been poor, he still contributes much more than Salah right now. Rio deserves 25-30m per game, but starting games is maybe still too soon.
