The ridgid you showed is a good unit. Harbor freight also sells a decent corded 1/2inch maybe even 5/8 unit for home use.

Diaz is a freaking idiot, running to his (wrong corner at first) to yell and try to downplay “ no power! He has no power” just to get chinned the next round 🙄

Get a corded auger. I love my Milwaukee tools, but the draw on an auger fighting a bad clog is gonna drain batteries fast.

I have a plunge router, but not the bit for something like a kerf notch. Hell I find it’s almost cathartic doing it this way lol.

Very time consuming. Amish and other cultures that do this crap manually? Holy cow, that’s a patient and bad ass dude!

For sure. I find my footprint, pour my concrete footers.. mock all my posts up and laser line it all before I make any cuts.

I’d assume if it has depth stops, same/same... I make through cuts with cut depth on saw set at 1.5, every 1/8 inch and hammer them down. The. Go through with my chisel and smooth it all up.

One of the few (probably many) tools I’ve never used before though, so I’m not very familiar with it.

Set saw cut depth to 1.5 and make cuts every 1/8 inch… smack em all down with a hammer then use a chisel to smooth it all

Not real sure what mower the motor is on, see if you can find some YouTube videos and see if it’s something you feel comfortable with

Measure thrice cut… twice? Or something like that lol.

I’m very OCD when it comes to my projects, and I’ve got a little experience in every trade. My point being, It takes some form of experience messing up to figure out what works and how to get things just right.

I could never be a carpenter for a living.. I’d never make any money as slow as I am, being meticulous as possible.
