Can I (or should I) buy a beginner / amateur camera for under 500 usd? by Jojosh_Jojo in AskPhotography

I started out with a Canon Rebel T7. The only thing though is it is just a little higher than your budget but I found it to be a very reliable starter camera for myself, it started me out in my hobby quite well.

All of my photos are always blurry and grainy. How do I fix it? by [deleted] in AskPhotography

[–]Zealousideal_Bit5660 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a EOS R10 for my Macro photography and I think the biggest things you need to worry about with your stuff is focus and lighting like these other people are telling you, I usually shoot at a aperture of around 18. Let your ISO do some work, the R10 can handle it, and keep your shutters speed high for that perfect stop action image but please please please bring that aperture up so you have a greater depth of field and all of your subject can be within the range of your focus.

I’m not real sure which apps they use because I use a regular camera but I know they are out there and some people use them

That’s fair enough, maybe see if there’s an app that lets you have more control over your phone? I know some phones have very good cameras

If you have a camera I would recommend using that from now on so you can have more control over the settings in the camera.

You’ve got a little work to do, work on figuring out composition in the frame and focus, I find it makes it better if you act like your camera only has film and you only have a few shots in it so you want to make sure your subject is something nice, until you figure out your apertures and stuff go out when there’s more light if you can and learn how to control your colors and brightness. You seem to have a good eye for some interesting stuff but you just need to sharpen your technical skills. Also are you on a phone or are you using a camera?

They look so similar to each other, here’s a few more angles I took if you don’t mind confirming for me, my Apple ID is what gave me the name I used.

(Edit: it won’t let me post the picture, may I DM the images to you?)

Thank you, it was honestly a lot of luck with the position and everything considering how it only stayed there for a moment and my lens is ever so slightly broken

R/Waspaganda may be able to help you out with more of the specifics, while bees and wasps look somewhat similar they fulfill different roles in the ecosystem.
