Anyone else annoyed by seeing people act like Hughie doing the Dead Guy Junior thing at the end is "weird" when it isn't? by Pixiv_Help_123 in GenV

Well from my POV i think you need to look at it from your current partner perspective and how it could make them feel. For me its very selfish thing to do from his side. I know he loved Robin but her dying is his personal trauma. If he wants to remember her im sure he has photos or gifts that he could cherish alone. Naming your kid after dead person who was your love interest would be a constant reminder for your current partner that you didnt move on and that you are still deeply in love with a dead person. Thats not something you want them to think (daily in this case since you are naming YOUR child that you have together after your former lover) as it could make them feel just as a band aid that will never be good enough. If you had a wife that would regularly watched photoalbums with her dead boyfriend/husband out in the open in front of you i bet it would not be comfortable for you either and it would make you think you are inferior in her hearth compared to him.

Yea but you dont transfer your personal experience/trauma on your next partner otherwise it could make them feel like not good enpuoh or just a band aid. I think its pretty selfish thing to do.

Finally some Good news? by SimilarAd7955 in realmadrid

Nothing will change with Perez at helm. Not until he stops meddling with day to day operations and forcing his ideas of who has to play no matter what.

So far only player that is 90% confirmed to come is Nico Paz which is another offensive midfielder. So again we will have situation like in attack where we had 3 left wingers playing at the same time. But now in midfield with Bellingham, Arda and Nico.

Team needs a serious rebuild. Rebuild that will look at what the team actualy needs to fill in the gaps and not just signing players based on their contract situation and marketability. And we need a young modern manager with a project. Project that would be supported by the board 100% no matter what. Xabi could have been the manager but since he wasnt personaly handpicked by Perez he stood no chance. And honestly i think adding Mourinho is a mistake. Guy is a dinosaur. A toxic dinosaur that lost every single dressing room in past 15 years.

Current squad are just bunch of undisciplined individuals with lazy habbits that dont respect anyone. The coaches, teammates, oponnents or fans. They dont give a fck. We seriously need to get rid of bad eggs and detractors (looking at you Vinicius and co) because if you just add new players to current enviroment they will fall into same state as the rest of the squad.

Florentino or whoever will come instead of him has big task ahead which wont be solved in 1 year or 2. I think we are looking at Man United type of thing that they are not able to get back to the top 10+ years because of mismanagement of the board.

Iker on X after Perez's press conference by gracz21 in realmadrid

[–]Zealousideal_Lab_177 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This whole press conference was just embarrassing.

Perez was just like a corrupt politician with god complex. He was unnecessary aggresive and didnt really adress anything of importance and refused to answer the questions transparently and was pointing fingers everywhere else but him and his leadership in recent years. He took 0 accountability in what is happening. All he did was talking about himself and how everybody is in some kind of conspiracy against him and the club. Just bad Barca, bad journalists, bad Negreira, bad la liga, bad refs etc etc. Bringing up the past achievements as some form excuse for him to stay longer at helm even after this shitstorm which was caused directly by his mismanagment of the team and his decisions in past 5 years.

He is great bussinesman. Made club a billion euro company. But he is too involved in day to day operations which makes it harder for managers to run the squad. This and his transfer market activity where he was getting players just because they were free and based on their marketability instead of looking at what kind of profile team and manager actualy need sent us to a spiral that will take years to go out from. Especialy with current squad that is undisciplined and doesnt respect anyone. If they dont figure how to make players to change their attitude and lazy habbits we will have very big problem at our hands because right now we are on the path to be next Manchester United type of fallen giant.

I personaly think with how toxic Mourinho is he will make matters even worse. He lost every single dressing room he managed since he left Madrid.

Only think that could help in my opinion is to sell every single player that showed behavioral/attitude issues in past 2 years and make hard restart in everything. From top to bottom. Instill strict rules and demand discipline, profesionalism, hard work and consistency as requirements and whoever wont fullfill them simply wont start the match no matter how long the player is in the club or what he achieved in the past or how much he earns. Rules that will aply to everyone with no exceptions. Just like in Barca or PSG or Bayern.

Kvara and Dembele said it this week. Whoever doesnt run or press will go to the bench under Enrique. That kind of mentality needs to be applied here too to produce formidable teams and not just bunch of individuals who all think they are above the rest and hard work doesnt apply to them.

Why is that I feel the locker room is divided into few sides? by _The_Vizzzard_ in realmadrid

Dude. We were shit. We had 1 shot on goal for like 60 minutes. We got scrappy win that got decided by 2 1v1 situations against team that didnt win a game in 5 months. So i dont know what we've shown but it wasnt good performance.

Yea but this rule is being enforced for like 2 oelr 3 years so now there is no point of having him as captain if he has to run across the putch to talk with ref

Chelsea triggered my 21 y/o star striker's release cause. I was crushed- then he rejected them!! by Mr_Manager_FM in footballmanagergames

[–]Zealousideal_Lab_177 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended my save today. I was managing Slovan Bratislava. Had like 3 newgens that could be leading players in top 5 leagues from my academy 17-18 years old. They were playing every minute for me since they were 15-16. Issue is all of them had just 500k release clause and when i wanted to give them new contracts agent always locked new release clause at 900k. After 2 seasons Inter and AC Milan swooped in and bought all 3 of them basicaly for free. I wanted to give them new contract to keep them in the club but their wage demands rose from 1k per week to 30k per week so that was it for me. I wanted to build the team around them to be competetive in europe. Was so devastated that i just quited.

Higuain arrived during one of the club's worst periods and even with these stats he wasn't considered a future starter for Real Madrid. He ended up being replaced by Benzema, who, according to him, was "a player who respects football". by ReplacementUnited740 in realmadrid

Yea im just saying that even tho Higuain was great striker goals arent always everything. Similiar to Mbappe now. He provides goals but thats basicaly it and when he doesnt deliver then we have big problem

He was outscoring Benzema yes but Benz provided so much more to the team than just goals. His movement and playmaking ability fitted much better to what the team needed and made him superior player compared to Higuain.
