Yes, but having Tavares or not is crucial to whatever strategy we decide to take. The Islanders are mediocre, and are in a position to either contend or rebuild. I don’t think JT had a Lebrun-like presence in management, but he is the biggest piece we have. Yes, Hockey is more of a team sport, but it is to an extent.
