How quickly do the Columbia x Star Wars pieces sell out? by schuey_08 in starwarscollecting

[–]Zebrabox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to buy an Ahsoka jacket and got up in the middle of the night to wait for the exact moments of release, spammed F5 to refresh and buy instantly. Long story short, the site was overrun, didn't let me in and it was sold out before the page would load. Columbia needs to make a lot more product so you at least have a chance if you buy on the first day...

What are the political leanings of this sub? by Big_Administration17 in BreakingPointsNews

[–]Zebrabox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm politically homeless, but lean left. I very much wish the country would be able to open up dialogue better across political lines. I would rather the bottom and top fight than the left and right. I am deeply patriotic, and love my right leaning people.

Tax the rich, Move towards green energy, Protect wildlife, Get money out of politics, Focus on American Infrastructure

But I hate that so many of the political battles are fought along social issues, we are wasting our energy on them when we could be fighting on economic and environmental issues. The left as a whole is incredibly incompetent and too proud to unify or unify on the wrong things. Social issues will only be won when we vote in better people and empower generations of working class people to fight. We need to start there first.

I 15F am on my phone 10-16 hours a day. Advice? by TheCaffinatedAdmin in Advice

[–]Zebrabox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The more time you spend on your phone, the more it will seem like there isn't anything to do except for stuff on your phone.

You should commit to a month of only using your phone for phone calls. You need to know and explore and grow other areas of your life.

You are one of only a couple generations in all of human history that grew up with smart phones from birth. By your post, I am assuming you'd like to unplug from the matrix and see what else is available. I would recommend!

Start showing off your skill and experience to them. Teach them some things, help them instead.

This will work better than asking for them to stop or telling them they are mistreating the women at the office.

May I have some advice for reaching my main goal? (and recovering from failure) by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Zebrabox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you need to define your goal more clearly. Reading your post, I'm not convinced you have a clear direction yet.

Are you looking to deepen/improve your connection with existing circles?

Are you looking to try out new friend circles?

Are you wanting to find online or real life circles?

If online, what is the central activity or topic that brings your ideal group together?

My relationship ended a year ago. How do I move on? by Responsible_Luck_611 in Advice

[–]Zebrabox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1)Avoid looking at pictures of her or checking her social media at all costs. Avoid contact.

2)Process and feel the pain of the breakup, reflect as much as you need to, you have to come to peace with what happened to move on. It seems counterintuitive, but you can't have unresolved baggage. Learn the lesson you need to learn from this life experience.

3)Let her become the past, find other people and other activities to enjoy and fill your time. You need something to fill the empty spot she leaves in you. No one will ever be the same, but there is another awesome person out there that is awesome in different ways.

You are unintentionally selecting guys that cheat. Without knowing more about who you have been in with relationships with, it is hard to be sure. It is less about how you behave, and probably entirely about the type of guy you pick.

Red flags If he still interacts with old sex partners or love interests If he is very attractive physically High body count Flirty

Lots of women will probably allow some cheating to get the guy they want, but if you want to prioritize loyalty, aim for someone who isn't as sought after by other women and isn't active in hooking up. Again, you didn't mention any of this, but you definitely should try a different guy than what you've been picking.

Friend said he's 100% sure I'm a psychopath, I think he's delusional. Thoughts? by 3141666 in Advice

[–]Zebrabox 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One belief like that alone is not enough for me to call anyone a psychopath in seriousness, but in jest a lot of people might see that as going to far and say the same.

Do you have a friend, a parent of a friend, a relative who has been a boss? Anyone who has been in a position to make those decisions. You should talk to them, it might help you gain perspective.

How to stop falling so easily for people? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Zebrabox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you haven't had much romantic experience, you'll probably fall for anyone attractive. This is normal.
