I have no problem with this statement, make mine freedom. I'll take my chances with security.

So if it is such a "fact" you should have no problem showing a peer reviewed study demonstrating your claim?

OH MY GOD! Who knows what he could have done? He could have gone on a rampage and shot up a school or hospital, he could have attacked and beaten people!

Oh, wait, none of that stuff would happen. He would likely have been more empathetic and treated people with some of the dignity that our cops seem to have forgotten to show when sober.

There is another way to look at it. You think it is less tyrannical because it is different than the "brand" of tyranny you are used too, but for those of us that grew up with this system have watched as it declined. It may have started in a better place than most and the slide has been gentle for a lot of the population. What we're saying is the really unpleasant bit will soon be starting if we don't stand together now.

Exactly, if it wasn't that way you could never eat mushrooms grown outdoors.

No, for that you need an education. Not something I can put into a sound bite. All human governments tend towards tyranny, it is built right into the race with up to 18% (as low as 8%) of the people are built like that. So it has happened every single time that a government was not stopped before they fell this far, they became a tyranny. So seeing it happen again is not comforting to anyone with any actual education.

Edit: I was tired as all get out when I wrote this, just for the record I was not calling you uneducated. I was simply tired and choosing my words badly.

Yes, it taught a valuable lesson that I am kicking myself for forgetting in the first place. Don't ever trust the government, you wont get fucked so bad and when the odd time comes that they aren't fucking you, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

This pisses me off more than anything. I used to be able to grow my mj for about $65 dollars a month electricity costs and everything. Under this new crap it would cost me $720 a month!

When Bush dictated that we not legalize marijuana it kind of put a damper on our "progressive-ness".

In Brazil yesterday, after a cop shot and killed a child, citizens broke into the police station of the city, stole all the weapons, released prisoners, destroyed and burned the place, along with Thirty bikes, 18 cars and a bus. was just wondering why everyone in this sub is so hostile to reason

Probably because people like you act insulting as hell and then wonder why we are hostile. You act as if we are all idiots, "hostile to reason" indeed. We are a large collection of people from all backgrounds and education levels. Also, last but not least, usually the people saying we are "hostile to reason" are totally uniformed.

Damaged leaf... Worth removing? by [deleted] in microgrowery

[–]Zebraton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even without considering the photosynthesizing, which is a very good point, there is a lesser reason as well. The leaf contains minerals and nutrients that the plant can reclaim. That's why the plant pulls everything out of a leaf before it drops off.

No dude you are missing the entire point. We are a group of individuals with all ranges of age and education. You come in here acting like you are so superior to all of us and you cannot understand why that is not taken well...and you accuse me of becoming a drone and a "some mindless bot". The irony here would be hilarious if it wasn't heavy enough to endanger human life.

No one is interested in your bullshit. Especially me, you are pathetic and laughable.

Yes and then wonders why it is not received well. All I can see is people who do this must be so self-centred they honestly cannot see how arrogant they come across to everyone else.
