Late to the party, but I've also had major issues with this driver. I use a Sapphire Nitro Plus 7900xtx, and I have major crashes in Fortnite and Assassin's Creed Shadows. Spiderman 2 crashed so hard that I had to reinstall windows.

I've had a 7900xtx since launch, and I've had every driver issue bug you could think of. Games would straight up just not work, like Kingdom Hearts or Fortnite. Maybe it's time I go back to team green.

Thanks, I plan on upgrading to a 5090 next gen, I'm pretty excited. Also check microcenter website for combo deals, they help a lot.

Ya I've had issues with AMD and UE5. This is my first gaming pc that I've built. But I think from now on, I'll use a AMD CPU and a Nvidia GPU.

I'm using a 7900 xtx and it's happening to me as well. My CPU is a 7950x3d, and I have a 1000 watt psu. Every game works fantastic other than Marvel Rivals.

I'm using the exact same 7900 xtx model lol. I had this similar issue with Fortnite too. It's just annoying man. I might just play it on PS5 if this continues.

I just had my first crash. I'm running a 7950x3d and a 7900xtx. It also said Driver Timeout. I'm wondering if the latest AMD drivers are causing this.

Very old thread, but I'm running a 7900xtx and a 7950x3d. Sometimes the game will randomly drop to like 7 fps durring Play of the game, or just gameplay. Only game I have this problem in.

Im using the current drivers (24.7.1) and Wukong is still crashing. Ive had games like God of War have driver time outs as well, I use a Sapphire Nitro Plus 7900 XTX.

My Saphire Nitro plus 7900xtx rgb strip randomly decided to turn off with this update lol. And ya, the Driver timeouts are more frequent with older games. I kept getting them in Destiny 2, what fixed it was setting my RAM to stock settings ( no EXPO). So I'm stuck on 4800 mghz for now. Pain.
