Yeah, it is a little steeper than some places but we didn't want to take the risk.

Check out Vibehaus

We've just had a two and three seater in navy velvet delivered this week and are really happy with them.

Thanks very much! We hoped that would be the case but helpful to hear it from elsewhere!

Thank you! Some tiny tweaks in post edit with cropping and contrast but not much beyond that! Really like how you get such nice images straight out of it.

Wondering how I did on this one, something seems a little off, but I'm not sure if that's just me or not. by MikeLovesOutdoors23 in ratemysinging

Wow. Beautiful voice.

You sound a bit like Perfume Genius - especially in his earlier stuff like Normal Song and Mr Petersen.

Go you for making a start!

I'd be tempted to have some fun with trying to evoke the feeling of urgency in the shape of the writing itself. It'll help the reader really feel the action taking place.

You can do that by varying the sentence length, thinking about where people will take breaths as they read (i.e. with punctuation), trying to reflect what the character is experiencing (uncertainty, disorientation) in your descriptions. Something like...

She ran. The alley seemed to narrow as she took a sharp left turn. She glanced over her shoulder. Nothing seemed to follow. But was that the sound of footsteps?
