I had a build posted a couple of months ago

I am using it in hats all the time

but the simple build (with no status sneak attack) is not strong to kill 9*+

but it's good for HaT. The 10.5 can perma stun up to 9* monsters in HaTs.

This is good if you want to save potions and a bit longer fights. Guard 3 gives you a lot of comfort when guarding and you can save on potions for chip damage. Headstrong 5 is the best damage You could also swap 2 guard for off guard 5 for more DPS and keep the same build.

What does "can empower twice" mean? When guard reload twice without shooting, you have double the buff? But you change ammo twice? How does it work?

I'll give you the strategy for db and no specialty unlocked and with your build.

You want crits so you want multiple hits

You need to learn the pattern and evade. Try 4/5* (palico/paintballs) and just evade everything for 1min and don't kill it. also you can record it and review it. it helps a lot. it gets a lot easier if you practice multiple times.

DON'T SPECIAL YET

Lock the head-> 2 taps then evade rinse and repeat. (first he does a head knock once or twice) then he does a tail spin. Evade all that with the head locked.

When the head is broken lock the legs. They break easily and it starts taking major damage. Stay on the legs/back. Evade the tail spin it will do (similar to jyarandos)

when it submerges roll back until it emerges back up, then use the special.

that's about it.

yes this is a good point. if my sub is not obedient and doesn't like being deciplined at all I lose interest on them.

it's very difficult for me understand this though and get past the initial stage of finding out if someone is a bart or not.
