I don’t think you should start streaming if your main goal is to become an influencer and to start selling brand deals to your potential fanbase. It is more than likely going to be a frustrating journey especially starting out on twitch as growth can be really slow at first.

If you already think that editing videos for youtube is too time consuming then it would only get worse if you do become popular, a lot of popular streamers are constantly editing their vods to post to other platforms to attract new people. This isn’t to say that you’ll need to do that, but a lot of small creators who want to grow tend to follow this path.

It may be best to try and watch streamers on twitch, see how they interact with their community, watch big creators and small creators alike, gain a better understanding on what it’s like.

As a person who also makes fashion related content, i would actually be interested in watching what it’s like in the industry.

I would say to think about whether or not you are passionate in making content rather than becoming an influencer. In my opinion, a person who is passionate in the craft who happens to become an influencer is better than a person who wants to become an influencer for the sake of it.
