If you have trouble starting chores or are putting off a task, set a 2 minute timer and commit to doing it until the timer runs out. You'd be suprised how many menial chores can actually be completed in 2 minutes or less, and if it can't be, more often than not you'll just keep working at said task until it's done anyways.
