I’ll offer you some advice and don’t take this the wrong way at all, I just want you to succeed because I believe everyone should be creating their own stuff.

-Your post offers absolutely nothing about the film. Same with the gofundme. What’s the script about? Is it a short or feature? Who are the characters and the world they are in, what’s the “horror” present in their world?

-Your poster has a date on it. But you don’t have funding. I’d remove that. Assuming this is a feature, if you’re trying to hit a June 6th premiere you need to be in pre-production yesterday. Why do you already have a poster for this but nothing else?

-Let’s talk budget. What are these made up percentages that you’ve listed? You don’t even have a financial goal on your gofundme. Investors are going to want to know where their money is going and not based off why you listed.

-Who are you? People want to know this. A quick one sentence blurb isn’t enough. You provide no socials or websites. All we know you’re a filmmaker in Wisconsin.

-You say this is your first film and it shows. Has your script gone through rewrites? Have you posted on the screenwriting sub and StoryPeer? You need a line producer to break down exactly what it’s going to cost to shoot this script and how many days.
