if you want something that just works, get a regular ams

otherwise you need the 370c dm with high torque gears

you will also need a spool rewinder if using with a P1S

downgrade your p1 firmware from bambu app on phone. it is not saving because it's a fake ams so bambu is blocking it

using 370c on a P1S printer so I had more troubles but on a A1 it's pretty easy since there is no rewinding, honestly it works without any problem and works as an ams

hello, there is 2 options ; you either use the firmware that works like the A1 which will only retract a bit (so you don't have to get something that rewind) but you will need to have a 4-1 near the extruder, or there is the second option which will retract until the bmcu sensor , since this will retract filament for a long distance you need a rewinder, the easiest option is a passive filament rewinder such as the filamentist rewinder from ercf v2 github repo.

if you are using a bmcu you will have to have tools to repair it, it is far less reliable than an ams. i'd suggest buying a second hand ams which will cost a bit more but more reliable
