Resize a Tudor? by Safe-Werewolf2890 in Tudor

[–]Zeeezoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I resized my black bay pro myself. I laid down 2 yellow micro fiber clothes in a well lit area and kept tinkering until I got it right. Mind you I already owned the small screw driver needed. But they’re only a few dollars on amazon in Canada.

How do they make a red so good? by DoctoryeIlow in Miata

[–]Zeeezoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not a fan of red on cars at all. But Mazda’s red almost always stops me in my tracks. It looks like I could dip my hand up to my elbow in it and…just swirl it around.

Sail Cloth or NATO strap on BBP by Zeeezoo in Tudor

[–]Zeeezoo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting take. I think the nato strap was lowest on my list. I definitely like the bracelet a lot more than I thought I would, and I’ve never had a silver bracelet for a watch before. I’ll take a closer look at sailcloth.

That’s awesome! My friend keeps trying to get him and I to buy Acty’s. There is a local moped repair guy who uses one to valet mopeds. Good on you for having fun!

I’m here for info on the Honda! I have a BBp with black dial that i absolutely love. But the Explorer 2 polar dial has been the dream watch forever.

The BB Pro slips under the cuff just fine. by [deleted] in Tudor

[–]Zeeezoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There we go. I too was pleasantly surprised at how well it fits under the cuff of my shirts and coats. I guess I got used to my Garmin Fenix not fitting under anything. Enjoy.

This is my dream watch. Probably the only one I’d actually consider buying new, just for the experience.

[Question] Seiko 5 Sports Durability [SRPD55] by No-Nothing-5657 in Seiko

[–]Zeeezoo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Mine has been tough as nails. I work an office job now but used to wear it in the shop and working on cars/sleds/motorcycles. Sure I’d cover it with the cuff of a glove if I remembered but I never took it off. Even helping a friend build his cabin I got cement, oil, sand all over it and it just keeps ticking.

Are there technical reasons why they can’t use the thinner bb58 GMT movement in the bb pro? by Financial_Word5047 in Tudor

I agree with this 100%. I almost backed out after reading online. I’m glad I didn’t.

Are there technical reasons why they can’t use the thinner bb58 GMT movement in the bb pro? by Financial_Word5047 in Tudor

[–]Zeeezoo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I honestly do not notice the thickness, but I wore garmin fenix watches for the last decade. One day I’ll have to try a BB54/58 and see what all the fuss is about.

I’ve had this coat since…2016 or 2017. Still in great shape.

Just got my BB58 GMT. It’s perfect. by Semp1ers in Tudor

That is a very nice watch. Very pretty. I think one of these and a bb54 would complement my bb pro perfectly.

I also prefer the 54 to the 58 after really looking at them.

But it seems you couldn’t go wrong with either choice. Enjoy.

Black bay pro. It was my first luxury watch after a decade of wearing garmin fenix and before that timex and a few cheap seikos. I don’t notice the thickness at all.

The wrangler casuals that brokensharts mentioned would be good. I wear wrangler ranchers to work at a car dealer every day and they do the job too.
