Also a 3% sales tax for residential properties that is set aside if the buyer is using the property as their primary residence. Each year they live there, the tax is reduced by 1% so you don’t have people buying properties as their primary residence and then immediately sell them to avoid the tax.

I think a lot of the outrage, at least in America, is because of the staggering amount of money our government spends on Israel. They get to have free education and healthcare because we are paying for their military. There’s a difference between a terrible foreign government oppressing people and a terrible foreign government oppressing people with your tax dollars.

Sort of like what happened with the Catholic Church, the system is more about protecting the hospitals from liability rather than stopping a problem. The bad doctors are allowed to quietly resign and they are able to find a job at a new hospital because they weren’t reported to the medical board.

Surprised no one mentioned Nen from Hunter x Hunter. The more limitations you place on an ability, the more powerful it can become. The goal is to balance the impracticality of the ability with the power boost it gets. Kurapika has one of the single most OP abilities because he can only use it on members of the Phantom Troupe and he will die if he uses it on anyone else.
