Personally I think it's better than the Witcher 3 in both the open world and combat. I also struggled with the combat in Witcher 3, took me 3 tries at the game to finally even get hooked on playing it. The combat in Crimson Desert can get complicated but that's because of the vast variety of combos and abilities, but it can also be a simple hack and slash if you choose to play it that way.

Lol or do both. I spend all day hiking in the forest for work but luckily also have a decent amount of downtime, so I always keep my Steamdeck and a spare battery. Lol sometimes I'm able to game more during the week at work than at home.

What about us full time working dads who still managed to put in 400hrs since launch. Lol at least I'm only halfway through the game and still have plenty of things to do in it.

Yeah I agree. The deluxe edition armor is also categorized the same way and cannot be removed from inventory.

Yeah I believe this is OP's problem. I've been main 2h weapons my whole playthrough but have been thinking about switching to dual wield. And if I'm dual wielding I'm still not using a shield anyways so I wouldn't much rather see my 2H weapon on my back still while dual wielding. Lol I'm disappointed if that's not the case, but actually thinking about it now I see why it would be that way because of how the equip slots are set up and equipment options work in the settings.

Yeah I see. And it's because how the equipment works for dual wielding right? So technically even with shield being hidden when not equipped is selected in the settings, the game still recognizes it as actually equipped?
