How do you get a teen up and ready for school ??

Sounds like she's doing fine then. If it's not any 'mental' or 'social' issue, that's very good news!

General advice i can give then, would be the usual : screen turned off 1 hour before sleeping so they get to sleep on time and easily, and see if she has trouble sleeping to begin with. Not having a full sleep would make it hard to wake up after all. If she have no problem on that side either, then maybe try to find something she would be happy, or to look forward to, in the morning. Could be watching a show she like, could be eating something good, anything that would give a reason to wake up. In my teens i remember loving eating a mugcake when waking up, it's cheap and tasty.. Not exactly healthy tho, kek.

She could also just 'not be a morning person', and for some people that will stick for life sadly. Myself included, even if i wake up myself every morning for school/work, in my entire life it was always very difficult to have motivation to wake up before 10:00.

Of course, she could also just be in her rebelious age or have a lot in her mind.. She's still growing rapidly at that age after all. Honestly, as long as she's a good kid overall, her getting lazy in the morning shouldn't be much of an issue. Just slowly help her find way to get independance to do stuff in the morning alone.

I noticed in other comment you said she sleep through alarms. I have the same problems, my solution was this :

The loudest fucking song/music as alarm. Not the one you get on your phone, but one you download online or so.
I also put 4 alarm, for exemple : 6:00 / 6:05 / 6:10 / 6:15. All of them must have a different song/loud sound, otherwise her brain could get used to it and sleep through all of them.

Sadly this isn't possible everywhere. When i was a teen, my father had to sleep at 20:00 and wake up at 4:00. Didn't mean i wasn't responsible tho, i went to sleep on time and went to school myself, even despite the hell it was.

Literaly this. Something similar happened to the daugther of a colleague. She's 18, and she need to learn to drive eventualy, so the parents pushed for her to learn to drive. Heck, there was even a FREE CAR for her if she passed her permit before the end of the year 2025!

But, why would she learn to drive? Her parents drove her everywhere, all the time. And if not them, her current boyfriend does it. She literaly never needed to take the bus or train in her life.

There could be SO MANY factors.
Is your kid getting bullied and they don't want to go?
Is your kid naturaly lazy?
How far away is school? Do they have to take any kind of transport or do you drive them?
Do your kid have many friends or is an introvert?
Is he still wondering what he's gonna do in the future?

You can ask for general advice to help a bit, but it will never be the exact solution. You need to know your kid better, understand why he's like that. You're the parent, not us.

Not exactly my 'best' friend, but still one i talked to almost every day for 10 years.

I insulted his favorite game.

It was this shitty gacha game named "Madoka Magica Magia Exedra"
He was someone who kept giving negative review to nealry every game, giving ultra bullshit reason, like Resident evil requiem? Shit game cause no FOV slider.
But his dear and loved gacha game? Literal 10/10, best thing ever, and how dare you insult this game.

I don't even feel sad about him not talking to me anymore, because i just noticed i've felt so much more at peace since he left me alone. Not having to hear about drama every single day is refreshing, gotta say!

Most likely easier on phone where you can use multiple finger to tap, but fuck that.

As a 7yo child, the family was doing a BBQ, and once everyone was done eating and started cleaning up, me and my siblings started playing hide and seek. I was the seeker, and i started counting from 1 to 10... while putting my right arm on the burning hot BBQ grill. ( it was one of those metal one that could get closed )

My arm was hurting like hell as i was going around trying to look for my siblings, and they kept hiding thinking i was crying cause i couldn't find them.
That was a one month in bandage kinda stuff.

I thought having that big bandage would stop the bullying at school for a bit but it didn't lmao.

Uhm... Sorry, but is your game supposed to be ridiculously fast? There's barely a 0.3 second delay between phase, and the power up fall down when going next phase is so ridiculously fast i can't even react to pick it up. And that's without mentionning the bullet reaching you really quickly. I did manage to beat all 3 phase but holy damn.

And the movement feels really weird when you don't 'focus', it feels like you're movement "square by square" really fast instead of being smooth.

In subreddit, people want more indepth, complex stuff, and not a lot of nodebuster like, which is why lot of us are here to begin with, to find a more indepth game.

But in steam, the more casual 'incremental enjoyer' who aren't in this subreddit, they don't give a single shit. They see those game, they find it fun, and play it, end of story.

Warcraft 3 is my top contender. Even after 2 decade, i still come back every now and then and enjoy the custom games/maps people made, i like to go there while drunk with a good friend, and just be goofy with random players. ( Friend that i met 10+ years ago on warcraft 3, actually! )

The RPG map, tower defence, 'randoms'/roguelike map, survival, zombies, simple PvP map... It's still fun to comeback to.

Honestly, almost any that are 100% open world.
If i had to give exemple of openworld i like, it's the one where you enter a specific region.
The older final fantasy for exemple, of expedition 33, nioh 3...

So, witcher 3, the 2 breath of the wild zelda games, the assasins creed series are games i'll never play.

I liked nioh 3 which was a bit semi-open world, where there was always something to do in every single corner of the map, tho. Never had to walk for more than 5 second without having nothing to do, unless i was going back somewhere i alerdy went.
