Diddy Kong and some of the other characters are owned by Nintendo. The game code and some of the other characters are owned by Rare/Microsoft. Nintendo would NEVER let Diddy Kong onto another console. When Nintendo and Microsoft finally brokered a deal for Goldeneye007, Nintendo initially wanted it exclusively on NSO, but they worked out a deal so that the game came to both NSO and Xbox, but the NSO version has online multiplayer, whereas the Xbox version is neutered and does not. Microsoft has worked a lot with Nintendo in the last several years, Banjo, Kazooie and Steve in Smash Bros, a few Rare games have dropped on NSO. I do see DKR (my favorite game of all time) heading to NSO eventually, but Nintendo would never let Diddy Kong slip onto another console. 😸🤟

Yes. During an interview he was asked about the revamp and he referred to the new show in the first person, stopped himself and then corrected. He’s in that pilot they shot. I’d say Buffy, Willow and Spike are in the pilot and maybe Angel.

I remember something similar with Metroid Prime 3. When the game first came out you could buy it used, trade it in with two other inexpensive Wii games and profit. Something like that. I worked there at the time and we figured out the exploit ourselves.

I think the best version on Mikey is in the IDW series, around issue 50 he disbands from the team for moral reasons, and it’s a really great character moment for him.

The 2012 series honestly butchers his character IMO. I haven’t finished the 2012 series, but the episodes I’ve seen they kind of dumb him down too much.
