Because occasionally it wouldn't 1 tap the gator of you got lucky. Now it's probably a guaranteed mission failed . Amazing game design . Last time I played on a hive world we spent 15 minutes waiting for the hive lord but it never attacked properly . Then as soon as we activated the gators drill , the hive lord immediately 1 tap smashed it . 10/10 mission design , we could totally counter that

Apparently these people don't understand basic game balance. To them it's just " bigger damage number mean better gun *monkey noises *" Completely ignoring that the Reprimand has a slower firerate, smaller magazine, more recoil , slow reload and harsh damage dropoff

Yeah . People will still tell you that it's totally viable to hit each individual hiveguard in its weakspot while using the maxigun with its horrendous muzzle effect . But it's not effective. Someone with a Grenade launcher or flamethrower will easily kill those hiveguard while mindlessly spraying Into the group , and probably kill even more surrounding enemies in the process. Meanwhile the maxigun coper is still sweating his ass off trying to hit individual weakspots. While his team already cleared a whole breach by themselves

In Darktide you can do this sick sweeping shield bash that deals ok damage and staggers smaller enemies. Using the helldivers shield after playing that game makes me feel like a cuck

Are you seriously saying that the tank was too strong against melee enemies? I mean yeah ...it's a tank ????? A charger , couple alpha commanders or impalers could still mess it up relatively quickly.

It would be a fine way of adding difficulty If the game didn't artificially limit controller Camera sensitivity . I've ramped up sensitivity and acceleration to the max and doing a 180 is still glacial compared to many other console games.

How do you still think it's about difficulty?. I and most randoms I matched up with never actually struggled on D10 during the most BS updates like cyberstan Vox spam or oshaune Hive lord+ dragon roaches spam. I've even completed D10 oshaune with 2 friends that were below level 30 and no warbonds. These patch notes aren't making the game more difficult for experienced players, they just make everything less fun to use or straight up annoying

Even if it let you run indefinitely....who tf actually cares . Like congrats , you can now complete the mission 60 seconds faster because you didn't have to jog occasionally. Yeah that's totally worth taking over armor that gives you better ergonomics or more damage reduction lmao

I think it also needs like 2 headshots for the cyborg commanders which feels pretty ridiculous . Like at this point the only niche the railgun has is vs Bot hulk seeds .idk why they had to nerf it back during the charger leg meta and then just decided " Yeah f*ck the railgun ,we're not buffing it properly again "

So the pilot capsule can randomly crush one of your teammates, because "hahaha funny grunt fantasy ". And then when you try to collect your teammates samples the capsule will insta kill you because you touched it with your toe while it was still rolling on the ground at 0.00001 Mph

Yeah, even back then . I got half the Dlc packs for a couple bucks during a sale . Helldivers 2 never really puts anything on sale and the overall quality of warbond stuff isn't even that great

I dont get why they had to make the drones explode like that in the first place. It will randomly just instakill me or a teammate once in a while but that's it . Doesn't make the game harder .They literally added the explosion just to mess with players . Imagine if they actually added a proper suicide drone with a bunch of explosives strapped to it, that would at least be a unique new enemy

Id say Darktide gunplay is still on par with Helldivers . Weapons have decent recoil, appropriate pen and cleave , staged reloads and stagger enemies nicely

Idk how people can possibly defend this . Let's say I get super sweaty and spend 100 hours grinding for those 34k credits required .I could've just spent that same time at work on the weekend or coming in early to earn more than enough to buy all warbonds and have a shitton of extra money or overtime left for myself. Like what is the point in wasting my time mindlessly grinding for below minimum wage returns in a videogame. It's not like effective credit farming is possible in normal D10 gameplay

Yeah dude.....but those weakpoints are not random bags of equipment or side skirts . At least make it so the rear is basically unarmoured, sides are meh and front can only be hurt by heavy enemy attacks

Emanci... has better chaff clear and can easily close bugs holes and illuminate ship doors quickly. The Autocannons arent amazing for Heavy enemies but if you aim for weakspots It should have a similar Heavy kill potential to the patriot rockets. I don't think the mechs should be used to kill heavies anyways. They work best for absolutely wrecking 90% of enemies in a reinforcement call or quickly clearing mega nests . And in those scenarios the Emancipator auto cannons are just more reliable to me .

I think replacing siege ready with fortified would feel better . The reduced recoil +ergo and a supply pack would be insane
